CocoaButter Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Im looking for clothing packs, mostly female, revealing and non revealing. Anyone got any recommendations? maybe what you use?
schijnn Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Apachii's Goddess Store Apachii's Heroes Store Tona's Mods Store Anything by Andragorn Those four combined will probably give you 500+ outfits. At least enough to start with, anyway. Note, however, that most of these are for medium to small bust sizes. (The Goddess Store does have a few tops for larger bust sizes, though.)
Silk Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Apachii Goddess store. Done. You don't really need much else to be honest. Damn - Ninja'd by Schijnn
CocoaButter Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 Also to note.. i have a big time love for steampunk stuff and gothic stuff
SoggyWaffle Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Also to note.. i have a big time love for steampunk stuff and gothic stuff That's in Apachii. If you're looking for bigger bust stuff try the Double Melon Wardrobe, it also has some gothic clothes I think.
Old Book Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Don't forget our own Uglykidcid and HanPL, both of whom have posted some incredible clothing packs. Gabriella's Sexy Boutique (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36626) and Erotic Emporium ( http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=913&highlight=emporium ) give you a ridiculous range of sexy outfits, and Han recently shared an insane collection of 400 outfits (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=2463). You can find pretty much anything you'd want to see your toons and companions in somewhere in these.
EvenstarGW Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Apachii Goddess store. Done. You don't really need much else to be honest. Damn - Ninja'd by Schijnn Not really true IMO. There's much better stuff than what Apachii has on offer. But take a good look around these forums, and check out the links Old Book posted. Those should get you started. If that's not enough, look in the what mod is this thread, it's a true treasure trove. Yay for alliteration
Honesty Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Do what the others said. And about the Goddess store.. don't forget this also: BBB for Apachii Goddess Store by Saaya - http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33526

Yay for alliteration [/quote'] I'm not the biggest fan of Apachii's stuff either, but there's still a ton of stuff there that can make great accessories for mixing and matching. Worth a download even if you only ever get a few things. Also, Apachii's hero store and Slof's Goth shop have the boys covered pretty well. Also check out the recent Fly robe compilation for some great gothic twists on some robes though a lot of people dislike the smaller cup sizes.
CocoaButter Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 oh, i forgot to mention, i am using HGEC, Colourwheel, modular beautiful ((with ++)) and xeo..4?
Silk Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 That means absolutely nothing to me (aside from the HGEC bit) to be perfectly honest. And HGEC isn't that useful if you are using one of the more extreme body types. I'd still recommend Apachii if you haven't gotten it already. Yes, it has it's faults here and there. But it is still worth the download. Also, the best method I've found is to just go to Nexus and trawl through the armour and clothing sections until you see something.
EvenstarGW Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Meant no disrespect towards Apachii, as I think she put together a nice compilation. But if you look closer, you can see that she sometimes altered stuff, not in the best way. It's still worth getting, even if only for the wigs. But if you stop at Apachii, you're missing out on a lot of other great stuff, is what I was trying to say. For the boys, yes, Heroes store and Slof's Goth shops are pretty much the only compilations I know of. But once again, the best stuff is usually in separate downloads.

[/quote'] Sorry, I didn't mean anything negative about your comment either, those are some good points. Another bad thing about compilations is they don't always serve a diverse body shape line-up that the original creators may have supported. That, or it may be too much to pick through with all options put in. Single outfit loads may also give you a more direct data structure if you want to mod the outfit, some comps even use bsas.
PlopFiction Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 ... and Han recently shared an insane collection of 400 outfits (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=2463). I can't access this link' date=' it says to me: You do not have permission to access this page. Presto Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 So any other good comp clothing mods? I know there is a wealth of good individual mods out there but I am very fickle when it comes to which outfit I want to wear and downloading one major clothing mod helps to alleviate my wandering wardrobe habits pretty well. I've downloaded the comps already here so I'm looking for others if anyone has good recommendations. The one Han posted sounds interesting if its still out there and try as I might, I couldn't get Gabriella's to work although it sounded very good.

I would if the link didn't send me to a dead end If it isn't a bother, is there an external link to mediafire/etc that you can see that you could post? For whatever reason I get a lot of dead ends on this site whenever someone posts a link to a thread.

Thanks for the clarification.

Mavado Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Most of that stuff on Nexus is really dated and lacks BBB support, making them unviable. The BBB DMRA wardrobe combined BBB DMRA default clothing/armor replacer with all it's NIF files run through glossmax is the best clothing pack currently available. Apachii only contains a few clothing and gem meshes worth using, and someone metioned the wigs?! The Apachii wigs are really dated compared to SKS ren hairs. Though Megaoppai is superior to DMRA, only a handful of costumes are currently available. Somewhere on this forum someone posted the combined DMRA replacers, download it and make sure to run it through glossmax before adding it.

Author of collection demanded to keep them hidden from the most of community. ...I appreciate all the hard work that is contributed through this forum' date=' and appreciate all the people who take time to do what is often rather thankless work. I've always despised forum mechanics like the one outlined above, however, and see them as nothing more than enforced forum padding. At least in this case, the majority of resources are available without the limit; thanks for not restricting more. On topic, I'm afraid my collection is pretty barren. VORB and this VORBified pack are enough for me and my shoddy rig most of the time.

The best thing you could do is make a compilation by yourself and keep it private. Just browse the 'What mod is this?' thread, look on SHY, collect nice stuff on nexus..
