Sandvichl4nd Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 Hi everyone, a weird clipping problem has been plaguing my game for a while, and I was wondering if anyone could help. Recently, I disabled all of my mods, and some of the vanilla clothing has been having a problem with clipping and being in the wrong shape, despite no mods being active. While some clothing, like the Vault suit and T-shirt and slacks are completely normal, the Army fatigues and Yellow trench coat are shaped like they would be with Atomic Beauty enabled, but even then the textures are wonky. If anyone could have any ideas on what I could do to fix it, I would be most appreciative. Also, I'm not very computer smart, so if there's a complex answer to my problem, please explain it in a somewhat simple and easy to follow way. Thank you!

Fusion Girl 1.61 has some different architecture about it that requires modders to update all of their clothing. Fusion Girl 1.75 is even moreso. None of the clothing out there is for Fusion Girl 1.75 except for the clothing that comes with it, thus you won't see any pregnancies & you'll see what appears to be huge boobies, but if you look inside the clothing, the boobies are still small. The clothing is somehow "locked" in the huge boobie size. Dicky's Clothing has the "huge boobie" situation, and Easy Girl refuses to show pregnancies. All clothing will need to be updated to 1.75 to work properly. So what's the problem, you ask? The problem is that I've spent the better part of a month trying to use Outfit Studio to fix these problems with no luck. PMC clothing seems to show promise, but I haven't tested it with pregnancy yet. Other people are running into problems as well. Thongs, for whatever reason, refuse to convert, and the HHS shoes, stilettoes & pumps shrink in size when worn. On a side note, I was able to stop Fusion Girl 1.75 from crashing the game, but I won't be giving that information out. I may or may nor release my corrected PMC clothing, depending on whether the pregnancies work or not. As a twist of irony, Fusion Girl 1.45 won't show pregnancies anymore when naked. It just quit doing it for some reason. In a related vein, boobies no longer bounce during animations, even if you load OCBP. Vag & ass bounce, but the boobies are locked up tight. Not sure why. Might be something the modders themselves have to fix, since I've tried every possibility I can think of to no avail.

This probably happens because you still have some loose files overwriting vanilla clothes. If you manually delete those, everything will fallback on vanilla. The location of these files could depend by the mod manager you use. If you don't know where you stored them, and are confortable with Windows, you could make a search of one of these files and see the path you find. For example, the Army Fatigues is meshes\armor\FatiguesF.nif, if you find this file you'll see where it's stored. If you delete it, then you can try in game if the shape of the body with the army fatigues is now back to vanilla.

That could be very true, I use Vortex as my mod manager (I was late to the Fo4 and Skyrim modding scene, so I didn't use Nexus Mod Manager). And I found the files, but I'm a little confused, once I delete the .nif files, wouldn't I have to replace them? Or is the .nif from whatever mod messed up the clothing, so deleting it would only get rid of the problem? (Sorry, like I said earlier I'm not the most talented with computers and modding)

To make old outfits morphs work in bodyslide all you have to do is download fg 1.45 files from nexus fg topic. Better of course convert to fg 1.75 if you can
Sandvichl4nd Posted October 11, 2020 Author Posted October 11, 2020 I fixed it, the problem was the .nif files! Thank you all so much for your ideas, I couldn't have fixed the game without you!
