anyone having trouble with skse and skyrim?

Hi i recently had to install all my mods and skyrim game kus of NMM. now im having trouble with skse

i have tried both version and it complains at me either way, i have every thing install right kus i played it before and suddenly when i started skse it says,

 

you are using a newer version of skyrim then this version of skse supports. ect

at the end loads of numbers. for version.

 

i currenlty have skse 1.6.9 i have also tried skse 1.6.11 and that one starts the game at least but then i get sexis mod say this skse is unsupported.

 

i do not mind if i have to wait for skse. i just wont to know if every thing is ok on my end.

i didnt even know at the time steam installed another version. my skyrim version is 1.9.29. found from TESV.

right ok great thanks i just wont be a able to play skyrim till skse updates oh well dont mind just now i know.

Was just there it still had the old one posted was thinking of a way to disable the pop up when I decided to refresh 1 more time it disappeared and was replaced by Current released build (1.6.11, compatible with runtime 1.9.29.0.*) With the new skse update all HDT stuff will now be crap till new ones come out for that.

you may have different versions of skse mixed up.

 

find all the skse files -- ALL the files -- delete them, then install from scratch.

 

I had this problem a few months ago and the culprit was a file I'd missed somewhere and it wasn't getting overwritten.

I'm talking about the skse_1_8_151.dll that you had to download from Elewin or other place and overwrite the original that comes with the skse to patch the HDT so that it worked with the new one I don't think using this old one will work on the new skse version.

im sorry i dont know what you mean? whats (Elewin?) a mod?, name? and whats HDT stand for? sexis mod says when i loads the game you are using an old version. im a bit lost.

HDT is for the heel system Elewin is the author on nexus she has http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/30642 High Heels and Stockings for UNP if you do not have HDT's HH System installed when you load the mod it's a automatic ctd but you also need a working skse version and patch for the HDT system to work.

SKSE suddenly stopped working on me earlier too.. had to uninstall a load of mods to stop that stupid message popping up.. guess we're waiting for an update?

Not sure can't get the new version to work wiped everything skse out. Might wait till they have a real working vesion of skse before wasting any more time. Check Elewins posts on the pumps version 2 thread she posted a link to a thread that has it but it's for xp and the person that made it said it should with windows 7 which is not true unless you like ctd's before the game can even boot up.  

 

@Paxab there is a new version whether it works with your mods or not is a different story.

Had the issue earlier, simply updating skse solved the issues for me so far.  Course, i don't have too many mods that rely on it either.

If you had installed HDT system before, please delete 'data/skse/plugins/hdtPapyrusExtensions.dll' - it is no longer required, but may make some conflicts.
 

 

Ignore the SexIs error message, it still work. Sexis just need to be updated to latest skse/skyrim version.

I can't even get the new version to load up the game it shows up in task manager but other then that it does nothing I have deleted everything skse 2 or 3 times with same result. About to just wipe everything out that uses skse and be done with it. Game loads and plays when using the TESV.exe and through NMM but then you have to put up with that stupid pop up every 5 seconds there should be a way to kill the pop up.

Try this: Download and install the lastest SKSE and then hdt alpha 9.2 :http://netload.in/dateiFh3DMJvFwL.htm

Then in skse/plugins, delete hdtPapyrusExtensions.dll

That should get your skyrim working again with HDT

So far I just threw the src skse and script folders out of my skyrim folder no ctd game starts and HDT seems to still be working fine for some reason.

Hm, seems to work on a clean load - it crashes when I try to load a game in which my character is wearing a set of hdt heels.

 

EDIT - Seems to crash on savegames with anything hdt related on even.

 

EDIT - nvm. I just completely deleted everything hdt related and only installed the latest version of hdt files and deleted the 1.8 skse files. 'tis working fine now.

I had to remove all HDT files and folders then add skse again everything seems to be working. I have noticed that not all HDT shoes/boots will work but have found a way to fix it. Put on a pair of them ones that are sunk into the ground then search for one of the HDT spells like help Elewin scroll up till you find the spell then type player.addspell spell id and boom they are no longer sunken.
