Player and NPC dont initiate sex. Also it says NVSE is version 0

Newbie to Sexout, when I talk to an NPC and try to initiate sex through Sexout hookup, the NPC says yes but does not initiate sex and returns to their last post. Same with Brutal rapers and other Sexout related mods. Any idea whats the cause of it?

Also a popout occurs when I enter gameplay that NVSE is version 0 even though I have NVSE v11 already inside the new vegas folder.

That's your problem, the NVSE Extender does not go in the New Vegas folder. Please re-read the installation instructions for the NVSE Extender.

I am having this issue, too. I have followed the readme for every one of these files. I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling New Vegas, and going through all the steps, more than once. The readme for NVSE 3.b2 (the version that the "Sexout FAQ - Read this to get started" says is required) says "Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Fallout NV directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas\. If you see files named FalloutNV.exe and FalloutNVLauncher.exe, this is the correct folder."

Also, I tried this with the 2.b11 version of NVSE and am getting the same issue.

In the meantime, I'm going to re-read and go over everything before trying it again. And sorry if these questions are annoying. Hopefully I'll figure this out on my own.

*Edit*

Damn. I just found a different set of instructions for installing Sexout with more information. Sorry.

Put your NVSE EXTENDER inside Data/NVSE/Plugins

Hate to piggy back, but I've been having a similar issue. Problem is when I moved my NVSE extender to the plugins folder, I have a CTD error when my game loads up (Tried a new char, and loading from a save before  I did the move, both get a CTD). Originally I had the files with the NVSE in the new vegas folder, and my game would run however the animations wouldn't show up.

(Again sorry for the hijacked post, figured it would be better to piggy back instead of starting a new thread with the same problem someone else is having)

What version of NVSE are you using?

it was the latest one.  I figured out what my problem was I accidentally dragged a NVSE (not the extender) file into the plug in folder. Sorry about that!

You need the latest BETA version 3b2 of NVSE. Follow the link for detailed installation instructions for NVSE and the extender.
