Main menu zoomed into top left corner and crashing before music

This is whenever I try to start the game using SKSE. On steam it's fine, on skse I'm zoomed into a corner and it crashes before the music starts on the logo and the main menu. Before anyone asks, I don't know what I did. Either BethINI did something or I did something to the ini files, but I have no idea what.

Try deleting your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini from Documents\My Games\Skyrim and then run SkyrimLauncher (found in your steam game directory) in order to generate new INI files.  Exit the game.

 

Then run SKSE again.  If it is still doing it, try reinstalling SKSE and say yes to the overwrites.

It didn't work apparently. So, it must not be an ini problem.  I'm so lost at this point.

So, neither method worked.

So, I deleted the ini files in my mo profile folder, now it's back to normal. Thank you for helping though.

? on steam? For me, Steam must be running to boot the game, period. that's whether I fire it up via the original game loader or using the SKSE64_loader. How do you run Skyrim SE without running steam (in either online or offline mode)
