Elysianx Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Hi! I've decided to undergo a small project for my recent character, which involves editing the armor from the mod DX Necromancer linked below. (note: I am using the CBBE conversion, also linked below) The goal was the simply remove the sleeves/jacket part of the armor. However, this is proven slightly difficult because the skirt/other portions of the outfit are linked to aforementioned sleeves. To do so I'd have to manually edit that portion alone in Blender (which I have limited experience with) After running the mesh through NIFSkope and exporting it as an .obj, I imported that file into Blender. On the right-hand "scene collection" It says the mesh is there, but I can't seem to find it, despite it saying the location is "0m, 0m, 0m" As I mentioned I'm quite new to blender, can anybody help me figure this out? I simply can't find the mesh haha. I'll link the files I was attempting to import into Blender in case I messed something up when exporting from NIFSkope. (The armor mesh was already run through OutfitStudio with my custom body preset) Links to the original mods: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38201# https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38446 I appreciate any help! VersuchDrei Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 It is way easier to do this in Outfit Studio. Here is a tutorial explaining exactly what you have to do: (note that unlike in the video you should load it by "File -> Load Project.." and save it by "File -> Save Project" / Ctrl + S, this way the Slider Sets adapt to the new mesh which has less polygons)
Elysianx Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 I see, I didn't know this was possible in OutfitStudio! Thank you very much!
