Help with different face and body textures

So there's a playable Ciri race mod that has great face textures but bad body textures. I want to know how I can blend the body textures from another mod I got with the face textures from this mod. The author of the mod provided neck seam files but I don't exactly know how to blend them as the description for it doesn't really explain it well enough for a newbie like me.

Hello YMPB.  Well, you're basically asking to briefly explain how to become a graphic artist - which obviously can't be done in a Forum post. What needs to be done could be easy or quite difficult, it depends on the texture files. And you'll need tools, such as Photoshop or perhaps Gimp.

 

If you'd like to PM me, send over the head and body textures you want to use and I can take a look at them.  Do you want the body to match the head color or the head to match the body color - the latter is a bit easier since one doesn't need to mess with the hand files as well.

 

What the hell is a "neck seam file" ?  Sounds like a lame-ass Band-Aid.

I've just had a look at the mod link and it seems overly complicated. If the author had done his job right then none of that would be necessary.

Well since matching head to body is easier, I'd go with that cause the colors aren't too different anyway. As long as it doesn't get rid of the details on the face such as freckles, scars, makeup, etc.
