Weird Hip glitch on NPC only - CCBE -

I been trying to find old threads in forums and reddit, but I havent found a solution.

Currently female NPC have this texture glitch where there is a small amount of missing texture. This happens on both clothes and nude models. but only happens on NPC, my character is fine.

I selected NSFW for one of the screenshots I am posting(but its mild).

I am using CBBE and I installed Fair Skin complexion after(made sure its the CBBE file). I reinstalled Fair skin once and that did not resolve it. I did not reinstall CBBE yet because I was afraid of messing my character.

I am not sure how to fix it, I been trying for several hours with no avail. and I dont understand why its only NPCs affected but not my character.

I hope someone can enlighten me on the steps to take from here.

this is either UNP textures on a CBBE-ish body or a CBBE texture on a UNP-ish body. it's often associated with applying an armor made for one body type being applied to a body of another type. Also can be right at the nude body level under certain conditions, although I'm blanking on the conditions right now.

Meshes and / or textures are not compatible with the Skyrim setting. NPC, are you a follower?

looking at your screenshots and your modlist I saw you don't have any clothing mods active? so basically you use your costum body on a vanilla outfit..  (vanilla outfit unless adjusted to your body, will diplay a vanilla standard body) and this creates those shape glitches.. I believe if you use a clothing mod, like caliente vanilla clothing for CBBE, your problem also will vanish

Actually if a mod just replaces the meshes and/or textures of vanilla files then it would be unlikely to show up in the load order as there would be no need for any plugin.

Not saying your idea is wrong, just that not seeing something in a load order doesn't mean the mod isn't there when it comes to mesh/texture overhauls.

 

I'd agree with Anjen on this, that thigh glitch looks a lot like a UNP texture over a CBBE body.

Hi all, sorry for the late reply, I went to bed right after posting.

 

I dont recall downloading anything UNP, Ive always stick to things tagged as CBBE. Is there a way to fix this?

 

NPC is not a follower. I guess I did forgot to mention, and I dont know enough about modding to know if this could be a reason why this happened, but

I remember going to bodyslide yesterday and selecting "batch build" with the CCBE body preset I wanted and selected all the items.

I was told to do that by someone on a discord server. I did that because the characters body looked extremely different in proportion when nude/clothed with the starting cloth clothes you got in an alternate start, so I was recommended to do that to fix it.

When you installed CBBE, did you also install the included CBBE clothes & armors?

Did you later downloaded an armor & clothing replacer for CBBE separetly?

I have not downloaded any armor & clothing replacer as far as I am aware. All the mods I have are on the original post.

I am fairly sure I have no added anything like that, unless I am missing something and one of those mods *is* a clothing replacer.

 

I have not reinstalled CBBE since I noticed the issue, but I been fearing that might mess up my character

I am seeing that outfit from the NPC in the picture. and I see that gash in body slide. I still dont know how to fix this though

How did you resolve it?

I installed the Demoniac Body textures for CCBE, it seems the culprit, for whatever reason, was Fair skin.
