Enaganalf Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hi, I've got a little problem, when I try to launch SKSE from the Mod Organizer 2 executables panel, the MO2 lock message appear(normal), a command window open for a few seconds and then close (normal I guess) and so I see my steam game launching(normal I guess), the green steam play button become a blue one and after a few seconds it just turn to the green button again (so the game just close I guess) and the MO2 lock is disabled and there is ABSOLUTELY no error messages in MO2, in the lower part of MO2, or even poping on my screen. So I would like to know were is the problem, conflict, load order, or some other stuff idk i'm new to all of this.
Just Don't Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hard to tell if you don't include any information about your installed mods or the versions for the mods/SKSE. Include that (as text or some screenshots) and things will be easier for everyone. If you're truly new to Skyrim mods or MO2 you could check my guide which covers the basic for the sexlab framework + other mods needed for most adult mods around here.
jorgen.klein Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 First of all what Dontknowdontcaredontask said, if you indeed say you use sksse64 for special edition we would like to know your modlist and loadorder.. although it may have nothing to do with both, it makes it easier to see any conflicts or possible conflicts that are not directly seen in MO2. If any of us can't see any conflicts. I might know the problem but then it is up to you to find out what Mod is causing it, that your skyrim doesn't load. In general make sure your FNIS, LOOT is porperly installed within MO2 or you may face a long time trying to find out, what is wrong (like I did)
Enaganalf Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 Sorry, here are the pic of my left and right MO2 panels
Just Don't Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 You have Racemenu for SE (unknown version?) but also NetImmerse Override 3.4.4 which is a LE mod with a dll, that's not right. That dll won't work in game, and it could be the cause for your sudden crash (or not, not every outdated/incompatible dll cause crashes, but I won't test it, just remove it as it's of no use). If you're using SKSE 2.0.19 (latest version) make sure you're also using the latest version for Racemenu (0.4.14 I think it is), as that's one of the few mods that released some updates after the SKSE updates. If you're using SKSE 2.0.17 you should stick to Racemenu 0.4.12.
Enaganalf Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 Ok so I'm using SKSE 2.0.19 and Race Menu SE 0.4.14 so it's ok I guess and about the NetImmerse Override 3.4.4 I uncheck the mod's box in MO2 left panel and I tried to launch SKSE by the MO2 launcher but it is still doing that thing I describe at the beginning of the topic.
Just Don't Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 So the issue is elsewhere, and as I don't want to keep guessing which mod is you can test it for yourself. Did you installed all these mods at once? or you went a couple at a time and went in game to see if things were working? Can you launch the game using the SKSE executable without any mod enabled? (in your left panel). Did the game work at some point? A simple testing method to find the culprit is disabling all your mods in the left panel of MO, start the game using the SKSE exe through MO as usual and see if you can reach the main menu. If your game crashes at this point there is something wrong with your SKSE install or your game folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim...). Reinstall the game or re-do the steps you did to install SKSE. If you didn't crash: enable some of your mods (you have 35 right? so enable 10 or so). Make sure MO isn't giving you any warning about missing masters, sort your loadorder and start the game again. Crash: among the mods you just enabled there is a mod that causes the crash, go back to MO and disable half of the mods, or try one by one. At some point you should be able to tell which mod is causing the crash. No crash: keep enabling the rest of your disabled mods in the left panel (1 by 1 or in little groups), make sure MO isn't giving you warnings for missing masters, sort loadorder, yada yada, try to start the game again as usual. That's it. It can be done in 5~10 minutes and you don't have to wait for strangers in the Internet to tell you where to look. Likely one of the mods you have installed isn't properly installed, missing some component or contains an incompatible file (weird that Mo didn't warn you about the NetImmerse dll as it isn't a dll made for Skyrim SE). Edit: totally circumstantial recommendation here: it seems like you started modding at the wrong time, as recently SKSE was updated from a "stable" version (2.0.17) to 2.0.18 and 2.0.19 in a short time and people report all sort of issues from mod features not working to crashes. I can't say for sure this is SKSE fault, as I've choose to stay in 2.0.17. If everything described above about trying to launch the game without mods fails, you could try to remove SKSE 2.0.19 and try to use 2.0.17 instead (and racemenu 0.4.12 instead of the latest one). That's the only other reason I see for getting a consistent crash before reaching the main menu.
Enaganalf Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Ok I found the problem with your method it was a little mod for LE that was still checked in MO2 thanks a lot :).
