Guest Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 I am now producing video content on BitChute.com. So far I like it better than YouTube. One of the videos I have sponsors this website. I have a few videos up, but I have more I'm going to upload. My videos consist of modding, vlog videos with gameplay in the background, hosting different mod websites outside of the Nexus, tutorial videos, and exploration gameplay in some of the Bethesda titles. I'm currently working on projects for Fallout 4. The link to my video page is listed below for those of you who want to check it out. https://www.bitchute.com/channel/HWfzPwX7tnb7/ I want to try Lbry.TV also, but the only thing I don't like about Lbry.TV is you got to pay LBC currency in order to upload videos. Lbry should eliminate that feature so it will be easier for channels to upload videos. The only thing I can fuss about with BitChute is the video quality. Other than that I have no problems being on BitChute. I can only hope in the future (which I'm sure they will) that BitChute improves the video quality. Or the website can add a feature where you can toggle the video resolution like YouTube does on their videos. Other than this little hiccup, I like everything else about BitChute. The layout is nice. I also like the customization features of the playlists on BitChute. Also (most important detail) there are no strict restrictions like other video sharing sites like YouTube has. I won't be uploading to YouTube and don't plan to conduct any video work for YouTube. I don't like how they treat their content creators and their guidelines are too strict. This also includes their bias copyright system. I tried making videos on Dailymotion and I strongly caution everyone not to go there either. Over one video I got instantly terminated. No warnings, no strikes, nothing. So for now I'm only going to be making content for BitChute from here on out. I had no problems with BitChute ever since I started making videos on there. If you don't believe me about Dailymotion, I provided screenshots to prove my point. This is why I won't upload videos to sites like YouTube and Dailymotion anymore. Hopefully I will see you guys on BitChute.
t.ara Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Not ideal to use LL as a jumping -board to other internet-contence or for any sort of dull advertisements. In other words: if I would be admin or somehow responsible for contence of this page, this thread would be deleted. In the past such stuff got quickly deleted.

Wasn't expecting to receive this as a response. Where is everybody? I made a post earlier, but nobody made a response. It's about the ESP/ESM translator the last time I made a post. So who said I was leaving?? ? Or in your case using LL as a jumping board? I'm not going anywhere. I also made other posts and blogs on my own profile page here on LL not related to this subject also. So how do I use this ESP/ESM translator? I want to translate mods from outside sources to English. I only want to help those who have been IP banned from the Nexus and guide these individuals to other options in my video material. I tried finding a tutorial video on YouTube, but none of the videos I found are in English. I just don't want anyone else to go through the same thing I went through with the Nexus Mods community. I don't care about them and don't want to talk about it anymore. But I want to move on from Nexus and help other modders who want/need the help. But I understand the frustration in your response. As far as how everyone else feels about this post I made, to each their own. No harm was intended out of my post.
Guest Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Since the OP is a content creator, I would like to ask how to get views for my blogs. My blogs have one or two visitors each week, and I fear wordpress will delete them if there are no views. Every time I log there, the site throw me straight to the statistics page. Although I've made backups of them, I dont know how to access them internally (that is, have a blog only acessible in my computer). Do you know of any tool with which I can store blogs locally?

No idea. I wish I could help, but I don't know that much about blogs. I'm only good at making video content, but never considered myself to be a good blogger. I would say share your blogs on Twitter and Facebook, but I don't trust those sites. Try to find a site that doesn't have strict rules to share your blogs on. You could try to find "best blogging sites" on your browser. I would just be careful and avoid any sites with strict rules and guidelines. Only saying that because I don't know what your content is based on. VK.Com is a good source, but it's mainly a Russian site. It's kind of like Facebook, but better and does not have all the ridiculous, bs rules like Facebook has.
Guest Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 I'm too bad at making videos. What the OP would recommend for video editing? I tried some tools, but they all seem complicated to use. Here is a combat video I recorded yesterday, with OBS. There are some hiccups, probably due to a CPU bottleneck. This stuttering dont happen in the game, only in the video. Do you know how to minimize it? https://www.bitchute.com/video/BFSauejq1X7O/
Guest Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 @DarkKnightGamer0912 Bitchute is crap. Not only did I get the never ending upload on my first video, I've read a lot of people who have waited a day to get one video to upload. Even someone who reported a video taking 4 days to upload. I was using Vimeo, but their 500MB weekly limit just pushes people away. No wonder why no one wants to go there.

Normally I don't do this because I'm trying to keep to myself, but I just saw your post today. I had to respond to it. I agree with you on BitChute since one of the problems you're having is the same problem I've had over and over again. The only thing that's frustrating me with BitChute is the video uploading. Every time I try to upload a video, I have to end up deleting the previous upload and try again because the processing time gets stuck on "process and publish". There was a couple of times I almost wanted to give up on BitChute because of this problem alone. I stay away from Vimeo too because you got to pay if you want a limit increase on your uploads. Screw that! I don't pay to upload videos. I'm not sure if I'm going to quit BitChute or not, but I'll only do it if this problem continues to get in my way. So far I've had no problems with BitTube. I want to migrate to Odysee.Com eventually as well, but I got to get 300 subscribers first in order to sync my YouTube channel on Odysee. But BitChute lately is starting to get on my nerves with the uploading problem. Vimeo on the other hand I'll never use.

Here's the tools I use for my video editing. For recording gameplay: Xbox Game Bar. Note: I use an Xbox controller whenever I play and use the home button (the Xbox logo button) to start my recordings. If you're playing on a PC, then you're in luck. You can download this for free if you don't have it yet, but most of the modern computers already have this app installed. For video editing/processing: Filmora 9. I used to use Cyberlink Power Director in my past videos, but lately I've been using Filmora 9. All of my videos I produce are voiced over. I use a Samson Meteor mic for the voice overs. But both programs you have to pay for if you want either/or. I personally like Filmora 9 better. I would get this one. It's well worth the money to spend on this video program. As far as a free video program I couldn't find any of them. I would just buy Filmora 9. To try to find a free one is a waste of time and nothing is for free anymore these days. Hope this helps and cheers!

The latter has already been caught messing with content creators, discriminating them, clocking up views for certain creators, while deleting comments or intentionally having some content creators not appearing in the recommended section. In other words, YouTube is extremely biased. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The way they demonetise content creators for having "wrong opinions" or without even bothering to explain reasons is a whole new stratum for criticism. Anyone migrating from YouTube to Bitchute are doing themselves a favour, although their viewer base will be smaller by a large fraction. Hopefully, Bitchute will become a serious competitor to YouTube in the future. I was also pleasantly surprised that your Fallout 4 character looks quite similar to mine when I used to play that game. The main difference is that I prefer to make the female characters curvy.

Do you still have this character you made from Fallout 4? I would like to see some screenshots. I migrated to other outlets just in case something happens to me on YouTube, but I don't expect anything to happen to me since my channel so far is growing slowly. BitChute is one of the alt tech sites I'm using. But I really want to go to Odysee.Com next, but I need 300 or more subscribers in order to sync my YouTube content onto Odysee. I heard a lot of good things about Odysee/LBRY and I really want to try this site out and see how well I do. YouTube just needs to stop discriminating creators over opinions and politics. Team YouTube also needs to lighten up on some of their rules.

Team YouTube also needs to lighten up on some of their rules. I do not have the character because I deleted everything some years ago. I don't make screenshots of games because I tend to preserve visual information in a memorative way. I've also liked your character designs in Oblivion and Skyrim: long hair, good body proportions, nothing oversized, skimpy without being vulgar or outright nude. I rarely like other people's characters, but you have good tastes. I remember playing Oblivion as a blue-skinned female elf with dark hair too, which was a part of some race mod. However, I have a very different playstyle: I stealth and snipe pretty much all the time. I get extremely immersed in Fallout and TeS games, so I find it rather unrealistic that a character survives so many gunshots in Fallout or so many magic attacks or slashes from huge blades in TeS games. As for using alternative platforms, it's probably best to create an account on each of them and just upload the same video on each one of them. Some people who have already had trouble with YouTube or who fear getting banned do that. There's a lad on Bitchute called Turd Flinging Monkey who has a lot of experience with all kinds of platforms for both videos and streaming. He has been deplatformed from many places for having "wrong opinions", so he knows a lot about them and which ones are better for any particular type of content. He doesn't have a specific video about the platforms but he often talks about them in his discussions. YouTube will never improve, it will only get worse and keep tightening the screws on content creators, banning more and more in the future. It's a big website and it has already become a tool of the political elite, so intellectual dissent there will always be a target for discrimination and unjust bans.

I didn't get that much when I was uploading photos here on Lovers Lab, but I can see why. Your character designs sound interesting. Especially when you mentioned Oblivion because I made a blue skinned dunmer female character. But I got the facial idea from a content creator who made a video on how to make her on YouTube. I wish I still had that game save now, but I still have the screenshots I took backed up. So far if you're talking alternatives, BitTube and I also heard Odysee (or LBRY) are the best platforms to use. I get a lot more views on BitTube than I do on YouTube and BitChute. But I've been having too many problems with BitChute with the uploading interface. Most likely I'm going to quit BitChute, but I'm going to continue to upload on BitTube and YouTube. I want to thank you for sharing your ideas with me. I also like to make stealth characters. It's more fun to snipe enemies from a distance while being hidden. Hey, I heard of that fellow Turd Flinging Monkey. But I didn't even know he was trying different platforms. YouTube is good with some things, but it's bad with their terms of service rules, discrimination, and unjust banning of content creators. That is the only thing YouTube needs to fix, but as long as YouTube has the same staff, I don't think that is ever going to change. YouTube definitely needs better staff and management. Also they need to lighten up on their rules.
Mr. Otaku Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Functionality wise BitChute is an okay alternative but the search function is atrocious and it's kinda slow, which makes sense because it has a much smaller budget than mainstream tech. I dabbled into that atmosphere for a bit but that political climate just ain't for me, too much conservative/redpill/mgtow reactionary hack bullshit going on, not much variety beyond that. I've seen some good content on there, but they get little to no traction because that's not the main appeal of the site, it's full of seething fringe rejects from everywhere. 19 year old me would've loved BitChute, but current me? No way in hell. I'd rather fight the fucking doomguy before that. Overall Impression:

I just got fed up with BitChute's crappy uploading interface. Honestly I don't think BitChute is the place for gamers. It's like you said, I noticed there is a lot of the alt-right on that website. It's cool though. I'll stick with YouTube and BitTube. Eventually I want to sync my YouTube channel to Odysee.com, but I got to hit 300 subs first. I heard a lot of good things about Odysee (or LBRY). I definitely want to sync my YouTube content over there next.

But like all small tech it is also plagued by slow speeds. Much more variety in content though so it's a much more welcoming climate. Odysee is a good site for archival purposes since i don't think you can get copyright strikes on there (i could be wrong on this, i don't really know too much about their policies) so if your YouTube videos are nuked for some reason they can still be found on there.

Right now Odysee is my next goal. But I have to reach 300 subscribers first before I can migrate all of my video content on there. I took a look at Odysee and I'm assuming it works similar to how BitTube works (no copyright strikes, no strict rules like YouTube has), but Odysee looks a lot better. But for now I'm using BitTube to back up all of my videos. I'll still continue to upload on BitTube and YouTube once I achieve this goal to migrate to Odysee. Never hurts to have multiple back up plans.
