IdosheJungo Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Hey all, So I've just installed Oblivion GOTY from Steam. The only experience I have had with modding is Mass Effect with ME3Tweaks and ALOT. I really don't know where to begin..... If anyone can give me a some pointers on where to start and what to do. I was looking at getting the unofficial patches and a couple of small graphics mods, but mainly some adult mods. Hopefully quests and voices etc. I also got Skyrim but I figured start off small and work my way up.....or should i just go straight for skyrim??? Thanks peeps!
fejeena Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 Best start with the right Oblivion installation. The game in C : / program files and is very bad ! Many tools and Mods may not work right. What do you want ? Nude bodies? Sex Mods? Quests ? And Skyrim Moding is different to Oblivion Modding. People started with one game and then try the other game after some years modding will say the second game is difficult to mod. If you prefer graphic you will play Skyrim. IdosheJungo Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 The first guide is the thing I'm after I think, but there's so much to it, but I'll give it a whirl and see how it goes ? As far as what I was after it was basically everything you listed, nude bodies mainly where appropriate rather than just no clothes for everything. Sex mods & quests, yeah but hopefully with some sort of quest line to tie it all together. I've read about prostitute quests and sex cults and marriage. I'm also open to the occasional un-solicitied situations
Lux Lux Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 OMG. I just did the same thing and was about to ask the same thing. Im very familiar with skyrim but have no clue where to start here. I personally would go to Skyrim SE if you want sexy content. One of the main problems there is getting out of date or old files. I can only imagine that that has to be worse in Oblivion since its so much older.

I've been reading through the guide and first thing I don't get is do you have to download everything there to make it all work? I remember playing mods when doom came out and all you had to do was load a file and it just...worked ????

That is a very basic guide, only the must-have-things to start with Sex Mods. There are no all-in-one Mods. The preferences are too different. There are about 100 different female bodies. IdosheJungo Posted July 28, 2020 Author Posted July 28, 2020 Ahhhhhh, ok I'm getting my head around this more I think, so everything up till the lovers section is necessary. I was thinking it was a bit more piecemeal earlier than that. I've been reading and rereading the guide and I have to say, it is actually teaching me more about the whole way things integrate (which I appreciate)
