I got lucky enough to join the kickstarter for this and don't regret it a bit!, Just wish I would've joined a higher tier then "Deviant" as I'd love to see this game succeed greatly, But was low on funds at the time x.x tbh I'm hyped for subverse but how this game is explained getting powers mutating and what not from monster girls just make it all that more amazing, with fully controlled like you said before instead of click "fast" "faster" "finish" kinda controls and the extensive list of fetishes that may come in the future as I'm a huge fetishist XD, and in all honesty makes me more excited for Monster Layer! Just stick through it all, once you get the base game in hands of people and have more revenue for a larger ad campaign I know without a doubt this will be pretty revolutionary for Lewd games. I'm kinda a lewd game connoisseur 70% of my steam library now is lewd games and doesn't really compare to this. The best ones always seem to be the ones going through patreon more time working on the project meaning more content and more money in the long run so its a big win-win for devs and consumers! If you take the early build approach for voyeuristic or harlot tier you'll pretty easily hit your goals when the time comes :D Also my discord name is Lewd Senpai#9875 btw so if you see me floating around feel free to message me to talk, hang, give some encouragement, anything and/or gimme that sweet extra role :3! Just keep up the great work!!

 

PS: Hope we get to choose a Futa chick instead of a guy, makes it 25% less gay y'know ;3 XD

Absolutely agree and we do have some hurdles to cross due to limitations in the engine as far as 'speed' and 'controls' during sex but they will be refined and developed as we progress from the base game. 
Right now the goal is getting QUALITY in models and environment in the base while still having as much content as we can but we might fall short on content due to budget. If we chose content over quality it would mean remaking everything later on at a higher quality to fit the content such as the models.

 

This way we can expand and add rather than rework and we can't wait to hear peoples response to the quality and hope they understand content is what's to come. The 5 base girls and short adventure into the lore will just be a taste into what we want to achieve and the fetishes to explore are almost endless with the combination of abilities we are wanting to introduce.

 

Futa will definitely be an option as we move forward.

I agree, high quality will be more important then contant atleast at the start, people will be happy to support quality product just be sure to keep it clear you're still adding content after release because reality is people won't read as much as they should and might be a pretty bad set back. Ik earlier I think you said you'd like 100+ girls/guys/monsters so that's a really ambitious goal especially covering fetishes. I think the best approach after release is let people know they get "early access" to updates in the expanded world content by supporting on patreon and maybe your kick-starter backers. This game has serious potential I believe in it whole heatedly you seem pretty passionate about it. I know the best course is the way you're already going about it, patreon can be a seriously good platform if used properly. Wildlife, BON, Monster girl Island, Princess & conquest are all my favorites. All are fueled through it. I wish to work on/develop a lewd game in the future aswell. Although a very limited experience with it v.v so probably will go the silent development approach until I understand it. XD but I think it's a good market as there's not a lot of quality lewd games yet. Important part is don't feel pressured to release to quickly, work at your comfort no matter how some people may demand. Any rush can be detrimental!

I am a bit more interested into the RPG aspect of the game, like how will you meet the girls?

You just run around in the world and find each of them at random or is it more like they are the bosses of an area?

 

Also based on the examples of the learning of skills (higher jump, flying, waterbreath etc), this gives me a bit of a metroidvania type of game, as there you use the skills to reach new places. I wonder if I could compare it more to RePure Aria as here you can transform in diffrent girls after beeting them learning new 'skills' . The setting is completly different as is the art style however

Hey! Thanks for your questions/interest.

So we are exploring the lore very heavily within the game, it's not a parody and takes itself rather seriously. 

 


These girls have been turned by a curse and without giving spoilers to the expanded game only available if we gain support through Patreon - you gain an ability to give their mental state back to being human. 

Their physical change still stays however but you do absorb some of that ability through sex. It will physically change your customizable character  as you progress based on who you sleep with, such as bunny legs giving you a higher jump. 
They are more 'boss' like - at least the main 5 in the base game but in the expanded universe we will be having entire camps/villages dedicated to different hybrids and even full beasts (dragons as such) as we explore where the curse came from.

Only your character customizer in the base game.

looks interesting, but sadly my faith in patreon/kickstarter funded porn games is shattered by the sheer amount of vaporware and flat out scams that been around.

Gonna reserve support for when we have an actual demo and some steady paced development

So due to the way the character customization works and the complications around getting/obtaining abilities from the girls - we in the meantime will be putting out a small area to feel the controls in the next few days. You'll be playing as Enrith who was never intended to be playable but you'll get a feel for the environment and character style in game as well as fluidity of controls to help us tune it.

There are currently 3 of us working on this full time but a lot of it comes down to modeling due to such a small team. I'll post some update pictures on Shay that are usually reserved for Harlot+ supporters on Patreon so you can get an idea of why it's taking its time.
