MCCC - No Jealousy (Not Working)

hey all - i switched off jealousy in the mccc control panel and restarted the game and its not working. they are still experiencing jealousy. any ideas? ty

If there are just a small number of individual sims who you don't want to be jealous, you can use cheats to give them satisfaction points and then buy Polyamory from the Rewards store (I believe that's an addition from Wicked Whims). If you don't want anyone to be jealous, I think there's a setting for that in WW as well.

yea - i stated above that i made the change in the mccc. i'm interested in the satisfaction points tho? what does that entail?

Select the sim that you want to give points to, and then in the cheat window, use the code "sims.give_satisfaction_points 1000" (you probably have to do "testingcheats on" first). Then go to the tab on the bottom right where it has their life goals or whatever (the big golden button next to all the little icons), and click on the button with the gift icon, to open up the rewards store, where you can buy a Polyamory trait that makes them not get jealous.

this is a workaround but why is my mccc jealousy not working?

No idea, I've never tried MCCC jealousy. What versions of the game and MCCC are you using?

you have to goto wicked > settings > relationship settings > cheats > GLOBAL JEALOUSY SWITCH

Okay, so the disconnect here was because you're talking about Wicked Whims, not MCCC. MC Command Center is on version 7.2.2, Wicked Whims is on version 1.57.

Some settings need to be matched in both MCCC AND WWW for those things to work.

Pregnancy # of Days, Jealousy, and Incest are the 3 that I know need to be set the same.

 

Since I was having some glitches between WW and MCWoohoo quite some time ago I removed the MCWoohoo module and just use the main mod now.

I also prefer all my sims using WW sex rather than EA Woohoo anyway so...

And I don't need to worry about matching settings either anymore.

Same here. Maybe it's just me, but I really wish there was an option to have WW sex override Woohoo. Like, if you select the Woohoo dialogue option when you're interacting with someone, it'll do Have Sex instead. I know you can just choose the Have Sex option yourself, but Woohoo or Try for Baby shows up in that first quick access page of interactions a hell of a lot more often than Have Sex. In fact, I can't remember the last time I even saw Have Sex on that first page.

Can't really have one mod taking control over another mod without having big problems.

 

MCWoohoo settings allow 'no strings' woohoo without any romantic interest needed but WW Have Sex does not.

 

WW Have Sex used to work with just being friendly with sims but was later changed to be more restricted.

Usually buried in the last menu of romance now and often doesn't even show up at all under certain 'conditions'.

Sometime even when you do click on Have Sex nothing happens.

 

But since I have autonomous settings tweaked quite easy I don't have to wait long before my sims gets busy.

MCCC takes over base game Woohoo and many like to use both MCWoohoo and WW together.

That way both systems can co-exist peacefully. 

So I don't think WW will ever take control over the base game woohoo and redirect it to WW sex as they are meant to be two separate systems.

 

Without having MCWoohoo installed you won't see the woohoo or try for baby menus unless your sims are very romantic.

But settings also must be made in WW to not show the base game woohoo menus.

 

The Have Sex command was great for people who don't like to leave auto sex enabled and having a ton of sims all going at it at once everywhere.

Don't know for sure why it was changed but I suspect it was too close to a rape command with just a different name.

I don't see it that way myself but others might.

Since sims will have auto sex with complete strangers anyway... what's the difference.

Have Sex is an easier way to use manual mode and not have to take extra steps for picking locations and animations.

Sims decide the where and what randomly.

 

My wish is for the WW Have Sex command put back the way it worked when it was first added to WW.

Sims out in the wilderness 'have sex', boom, hit the ground and fuck.

 

How often do you see sims doing it on the ground or the floor anymore?

Well, it would still be nice to have the option, for those of us who prefer to use it this way.

Yeah, I think it's annoying how NPC-initiated sex (or basically just any time I don't specifically choose the location by initiating sex through the Wicked menu of an object or floor), it almost always goes to the toilet. There should be a "don't worry about who else can see you" sex option for WW.

Well you can prevent sims from using toilets all the time by disabling WW Private Location Styles.

Sims will still use comfort, risky, and other locations as long as there are other available objects to use.

 

WW Settings/Autonomy Settings/Autonomy Specifics/Autonomy Location Styles/Private Location Styles: OFF

Easy enough to try it out as it stopped all the non-stop toilet sex for me anyway.

Do you mean Sex Privacy Switch? The description for that says, "Uncheck to prevent sims from avoiding seeing sex." I don't know how that would stop sims who were having sex from trying to be private, unless the description was just wrong.

Could be my mistake but I do have it disabled anyway as it should also prevent other sims from running away from sims in sex acts.
