Anyhow, Singles 2 is basically The Sims, but a bit naughty... In order to unleash the naughtiness to it's fullest potential you should however follow this guide... http://ntngear.wordpress.com/2012/06/10/singles-2-the-complete-installation-guide/ What the guide doesn't mention is that you shouldn't install the Booster above version 2.6 unless you use the custom modded outfit system (if I understand the german correctly...) or you wont be able to change outfits. Another thing worth mentioning is that the patcher for patch 1.4 doesn't always work correctly... I refer you to this troubleshooting thread... http://forum.deepsilver.com/forum/showthread.php/67022-Solution-found!-Singles-2-patch-1-4-and-StarForce Worth mentioning about patch 1.4 is also that it removes DRM, which might be good to know if you aquire the game in an alternative manner, perhaps a manner having something to do with boats and one-eyed men saying "AARGH" with a parrot on their shouldeer (Okey... I know that promoting piracy is bad, but the developer doesn't even support this game to the level of putting the patches on the official site, so you will forgive me if I don't much care). So yeah, try it out, and make sure to avoid the two pitfalls I fell into, mentioned above. I've played for maybe 3 hours and it's kinda fun. I cheated a bit to get to the sexing and I can report that while the animations aren't GREAT they are still pretty good. Hell, they are the best I've seen for any game really. Graphics are fairly good considering that the game came out in 2005 or something like that. Not quite at the Sim 3 level, but if I recall Sims 2 correctly, still better than that. There is a story-mode, which is all about getting your girlfriend/boyfriend back, and a free play mode, which just lets you choose 3 characters and play. Meh, I've done enough commercial for this game now. Try it out if you like adult gaming. Otherwise... what the hell are you reading this forum for?
DoctaSax Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Played this for a while back in the day, with the mods - gets a bit boring after a while though. Doesn't compare to a fully (sex & otherwise) modded Sims 2, imo.
Emily Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Singles.2 isn't worth investing the time. Played them for a while. It's a match making and more like a singles reality show with self narated drama. It's plain and stale. illussion games, the sims and oblivion lovers provide more healthy experience, educative in their own way and super personal way fun to kill the boredom.
