skyrim legendary edition can't use sone regular skyrim mods

That's weird, Legendary Skyrim is just regular Skyrim + the 3 DLCs. So there is no reason for mods not working with these, as they're technically the same thing.

Perhaps you're mixing Legendary with Special Edition? Now there is a lot of ways to call these versions, so buckle it up

The first names are for the original Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from 2011:

  • Skyrim (2011)
  • Skyrim (2011) + 3 DLC = Legendary Edition, "Skyrim LE" or just "LE" for short
  • Oldrim (because is the old one, got it? yeah, sounds stupid IMO)
  • regular Skyrim, or Skyrim 32 bits (because that's the architecture the software for this version uses)
  • og Skyrim

Now the Special Edition re-release from 2016

  • Skyrim Special Edition (yeah, a lot of letters so people invented new names for it)
  • "Skyrim SE", or just "SE"
  • Newrim (because is the new one, got it? again, stupid name)
  • Skyrim 64 bits (we finally made the jump into the early 2010 technology era eh bethesda?).

And when you have mods from LE in SE there might be some issues if the files aren't converted properly. I think it's the same for when you try to use SE stuff into LE but I'm not sure if people really does that because most mods are available in LE and then are ported or released for SE (you know, because LE was around for nearly 5 years before SE).

If you decide to modify Skyrim, I suggest Skyrim LE (Oldrim), why? simple: the mods you can use are much more than Skyrim SE

EDIT PS  :

In Alter Native's signature, Miss Nora Karlov is found and, as far as I know, she uses Skyrim LE (Oldrim). This should be enough to make it clear that with the mods, the two things go very well .

Surely, it should not be changed with the first thing that happens in shooting just because it looks good. A basic procedure is required to obtain a stable copy .

It is recommended (by me) to first get an idea of what the mod section of Skyrim LE has, evaluate what you are trying to achieve and proceed accordingly .

Here are the basic information to get a Skyrim with mod, stable

Conglomerate 01 - Basic Setup for modifing Skyrim LE - Well, my skyrim got messy, now i have to clean it up. So i thought to myself: "why not start a blog about that"

Conglomerate 02 - Basic Setup: Installation of SLF, DD, ZAZ, MNC and their Requirements and Patches. Also: Optionals-a-lot

That's nonesense.

Where did you hear that?

Thank you guys . I think I would use Skyrim Legendary Edition.

"Here are the basic information to get a Skyrim with mod, stable" - Thank you . I am wondering how to do that
