2 questions about BodySlide

New to BodySlide, and there are a few things I'm not sure how to do. any input would be appreciated.

1. I just realized that I didn't exclude any body presets when Batch Building armors, so all the body entries are sized to the CBBE - Curvy preset. This is probably the reason for my second issue, but i don't know how to undo BodysSlide conversions to get things back where they were. How would I go about restoring the original setup? Would I just need to reinstall CBBE base and have it overwrite things, or is there something else I need to do?

2. I've noticed clipping in the regular Gloves I wear. It's probably due to the fact that I screwed up my Batch Build, but if it's not, how would I fix it? My thought process is to use BodySlide to adjust things, but there doesn't seem to be a way to load up the hands, then the gloves on top of them, so I would have to make a change, go in-game, see if it worked, then go back if it didn't. A way to load the Hand model in the preview window would be great, but I'm not sure if it's possible. Is it?

1 Just rebuilding the armors and clothing using a new pre-set should sort things out, though that may well depend on which mod manager, you are using, the best way would be to do select the body type, select the pre-set, then hold down the CTRL key and click on the batch build, make sure to tick the build morphs box first of course.  If there are any conflicts bodyslide will then ask you to choose which of them you want to build.  Then choose an directory that has not meshes directory in it, desktop would work fine, after bodyslide has finished, zip up that meshes directory, and install that as a mod.

2 That might be sorted using pre-set and/or making sure to build the hands and feet as well as the body.  If not they it would be outfit studio that would be used to fix it, it is part of bodyslide, the access button is the bottom right side of the bodyslide screen.

1. My issue is that, if i'm understanding how BodySlide works, I've updated all the presets to use the wrong proportions (everything was built to CBBE Curvy (Outfit)). So now the other presets are wrong, and trying to rebuild using them would just compound the issue. Am I misunderstanding how BodySlide works?

2. I discovered that I can access Outfit Studio from Bodyslide, and I can see the clipping issues there, so if solving 1 doesn't fix the issue, I'll look into tutorials on how to deal with clipping in Outfit Studio to fix it. Only found it after I'd made my original post, though.

No, presets never get "updated" or changed when you build something in BS. Preset are just that, the shape of the body/outfit defined in a file. You apply the preset to the different sets you build. So all you have to do is select the preset and batch build everything again, the sets will be created again, shaped to fit your selected preset.

Your second issue might be particular to the armor/clothing mods you use. Because even if you built everything with a different preset than the one you intended to use, the gloves (if they have BS support) should fit the body you built originally. Perhaps the mod you use to provide these gloves (or the BS files if you're talking about the vanilla gloves) cause clipping.

So the fact that I didn't deselect all the body options didn't actually cause any issues with the presets. Good to know. Would applying the CBBE Curvy (Outfit) model have caused the hand models in-game to scale up in size, even if the preset itself didn't change? I'm thinking that might be why I've got the clipping, but I'm not sure.

The gloves in question are just base-game gloves (they can be called Gloves or Mage Gloves, but the model is the same). I was surprised the hand textures were there, but it turns out that there's a part on the wrists where you can see the hands underneath, so that explains why the mesh is there.

I'm going to try creating a group for the body entries, then rebuild them to the CBBE body and see if that fixes the issue. If not, I'll have to mess around with Outfit Studio to fix the issue. I'm willing to do it, but hopefully I won't have to.

Another question: whenever I do a Batch Build, BodySlide always asks me about Output Set. I've looked online, but can't find any information about what it means. For example, it will say 'Output Set 1', and have options for, say, Fur armor, and Fur Armor (Physics). What does this mean?

Pretty much what it is stating, building the fur armor will do so but without things like bouncy boobs and such, using the physics option will add bouncy boobs and what not to the same armor, other than that no difference.

Okay. Thanks.

Also, found something interesting. Was doing the quest Forbidden Legend, and to complete it, I had to join the College of Winterhold. No problem. Well, I'm running Legacy of the Dragonborn, and one of the things it does is let me create replicas of quest items I can't keep as long as I've had the item in my inventory at some point. I therefore decided to do the quest for Neloran (the Illusion Master Trainer) where you get the Mystic Tuning Gloves to clear out the magical wells in the college. No clipping on them. I shouldn't have been surprised, since they look completely different, but it got me curious, so I equipped the Mage Gloves in your room in the College. No clipping there, either. Every time I've been getting the clipping, it's been with the gloves named Gloves. However, the Mage Gloves, which look exactly the same, have no clipping. Given that the gloves are listed in BodySlide as Farm Gloves, I would have expected clipping on both versions, but the Mage version is fine.

Frankly, this is great, as I tried fixing the gloves in Outfit Studio, and it wasn't working. Apparently I'm missing something on expanding the mesh on the gloves, as every time I'd get, say, the palms looking good, the back of the hand would be bleeding through. Try fixing the back of the hand, and the palm bleeds through. Apparently I was just moving the mesh around, not expanding it like I thought. Thankfully, I now don't have to mess with it.
