Giniver Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Hi guys, ive recently downloaded the mod and plopped it in my mods folder, but when i open the game, it doesnt work. yes, it’s only 1 folder deep (directly into the mods folder) yes, i have mods and scripts enabled (and have restarted the game multiple times after doing this) i have other custom content that works when i play the game, none of the ww functions show up (actually, sims refuse to woohoo at all??) I’m at a loss of what I’m doing wrong here?

Scorpio Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Did you also download some animations for it to use from here: Wicked only has a couple included for testing. https://www.loverslab.com/files/category/201-animations-wickedwhims/ Lupobianco, Mike24, Azmodan22, and MOTHERLOADSIMS are my favorites. Make a new folder for them named Wicked Animations and install them there.
Scorpio Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 If you get the purple Wicked Whims notification when you load your household it's working. Some of the default settings might be a bit mild though.

Check your Mods folder and you should have a WickedWhimsMod folder. Open it and you should only see 2 files named TURBODRIVER **. One Script and one Tuning file, no other files except a WickedWhimsSettings folder it creates when loading. If you have a .zip file maybe you didn't extract it yet so delete it after extracting. When extracting it will create some other extra files you can delete. It also makes another folder, so now you are 2 folders deep in mods unless you move the 2 files back to Mods/WickedWhims Then delete your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder, do this whenever adding or removing mods.
HelioSun Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I'm having this same issue. Thought it was some other mods. Reinstalled with all mods removed except for WW and it still isn't showing up in game on the action hub or the purple message when it's initally installed ?

If you are all using Legacy Edition, then you need to use the Legacy version of WW. https://wickedwhimsmod.com/legacy
NotItToday Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I'm having this same issue. Did anyone ever find a fix for it? I downloaded other mods that work. I have mods and scripts enabled and I restarted the game after applying those settings. I have the files only 1 folder deep. Literally any other mod is working. AND I had WW working earlier today and bought a new expansion and everything stopped working so I uninstalled everything and when trying to reinstall, it won't work. I'm doing the same things I did the first time I installed. What gives? I tried restarting my computer as well. I'm so frustrated. Please help!

Please help! my dude, there was an update this morning that broke a good number of mods. WW should be updated for compatibility sometime tomorrow. Patience, i am in the same boat
