Changing a texture has nothing to do with physics.

If physics won't work, then you need to rebuild your body and choose a physics enabled body (special or physics for simple CBBE, or the Amazing body for CBBE 3BBB or its alternative for BHUNP.. .or the newest UUNP for that matter). I've noticed that *some mod installations break the body and I have to rebuild. In fact, sometimes I find that particular installation, usually one associated with body operations, like when I installed BHUNP side by side with CBBE-3BBB for older followers (BHUNP handles UNPish-follower conversions better imo), breaks the CBBE-3BBB installation altogether, requiring re installation.

Afaik, the applied body texture has little to do with it. (caveat, if you're working on some follower and expect them to be "fullly fleshed out" yet they're based on a static UNP or early (static) CBBE body, in which case there's a bit of work to be done using Bodyslide and the CBBE-3BBB or BHUNP, and manual file moves (for meshing) along with some work in a dds capable photo editor (I use PdN for this stuff... you can also install the appropriate filters into PS or probably use GIMP if that's what you use. ... I haven't used GIMP since it was in alpha, so I don't know either way for that one)

Ok. That's too bad.  Sounds like you have more fundamental problems to deal with. Presuming your hardware is "up to the task", I'd suggest that you review the various instructions for installing CBBE-3BBB, CBPC, HDT-SMP, Sinful CBP, etc. (ie, the foundations for bounce and wiggle).  It sounds like you have an issue there. And of course, any required bodyslide work.

If things were installed correctly, you should have CBP response at the least and CBP and SMP response if things were installed ideally.
