amenshawn Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Okay, I got Creation Kit all installed and ready to go, but before I find myself a handy dandy YouTube video to guide me through the process of up converting everything MO2 says I have issues with, is there anything else I should be aware of? I've never done this and really don't want to fuck it up.   Here's a list of all the form 43 items that MO2 says need to be form 44...   Animal_SOS.esp • AnubAnimObj.esp • BeeingFemale.esm • BeeingFemale_RS_Patch.esp • BeeingFemaleBasicAddOn.esp • BFA_CreatureChildActors_V+DG+DB.esp • CreatureFramework.esm • HentaiCreatures.esp • HornyCreatures.esp • Jugs.esp • MilkMod_MilkPumpsFancy.esp • MilkModNEW HF.esp • MilkModNEW Sanbox.esp • MilkModNEW.esp • MoreNastyCritters.esp • SexLabMatchMaker.esp • SOS - Shop.esp • TDF Aroused Sexy Idles.esp  Now, I'm assuming I need to remove the old mod these are associated with entirely, do the thingy with Creation Kit so they're properly updated to plug in right, then install them again. Is there any other step I'm currently unaware of I'll need to do -or- just up convert and good to go?

Then press "Ok" to go back to MO*. * This is used to check if you have plugin files with "form43" (format from Skyrim LE). To this day, there is no solid evidence that using a plugin with form43 does any harm to your game. Just don't, there is no real reason to do such nuisance, specially if you're not familiar with CK or xEdit to check if there are any relevant errors. Disable that warning in MO and enjoy, if you get proper conversions (or port them yourself properly) you shouldn't have any issues. From all the files that require conversion, the plugin files are not one of them (you must optimize textures/meshes, convert animations, perhaps edit some scripts, etc.). 4
Husky1o1 Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Skyrim SE does not care if it´s form 43 or 44. It´s just cosmetics and serves you as a warning that maybe the mod is an LE mod.  But the number doesn´t tell you whether it has been ported or not. If people tell you it works for SE, just ignore the number. Many mods were ported to SE and still carry the old number, because modders forgot to change it - and don´t care about it. If a mod does not work in SE, it´s never because of the form number.  If, however, you want to install actual LE mods on SE than you need to port them manually yourself. 2
