huntmaster Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 So ive been on Oldrim till a few days ago and had to rebuild my mods from scratch. Im running into a big problem with using pure Sexlab and that is the allignment is off on the actors. Mainly clipping through stomach etc. Also i used to use "All in one Animated Vagina" and that mod isnt around for SSE. what mods should i use to get that functionality back. FYI im using these mods for bodies etc: CBPC HDT-SMP BodySlide CBBE SE Female Skin texture replace (fair skin, mature skin, etc.) CBBE 3BBB XPMSE So i need some help getting the actors aligned. Never had to do it because i was a huge fan of OSA and OSEX. Ive heard people mention Sexlab Tools, but after going through it im not sure what its used for, any tips appreciated there. My goal is to get scenes that look good enough to go in the "screenshots" sub forum. cause there is some quality work there. If yall have suggestions as for what mods help with that (positions, animations, poses, furniture, etc.) i would be grateful
Husky1o1 Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Mostly, when animations not align, it´s because the actors don´t have the correct sizes. All animations are made for actor height close to 1.0. If you change their heights to 0.95 or even smaller they will never fit. Apart from making sure all actors have their normals heights: You can align the scenes with the keys which you can define yourself within the SexLab mod. Just have a look there. Any manual alignments will be stored and used the next time when the same animation with the same genders and heights are used.
anjenthedog Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Afaik SL tools is for creating your own animation sequences, SL offers several hotkeys for actor alignment. See the Player Hotkeys section of the SL MCM. You can adjust any participant's positions forward, backward, left, right, and up down. If SOS is installed, you can adjust "angle of attack" , ie male member angle. Regarding size differences, the way it's usually handled is via auto-scaling (although there are caveats there). To autoscale, from the SL MCM >> Animation settings > Animation Handling Uncheck Disable Scaling / CTD Fix Then check Even Actors Height Now, here's the caveat... If either character has different torso lengths, leg length, etc, this can cause oddities in some cases (ex: 69). That is, autoscaling adjusts height, not proportions. (I'm specifically speaking about human/human animations here). If I'm not mistaken, SL is slightly "smart" in that it will at least sometimes save the adjustments, although I'm not exactly sure what criteria have to be met for it to do so on its own. PS> for issues with gargantuan, unrealistic lengths, there's a mod called "no over penetration". See the main SE page, then choose the conversions thread and scan down the listings Finally, in answer to your first question. Install CBBE-3BBB and use it. Install the full blown SMP option. And in play, if SMP is too much for your system, you can always run in CPBC mode. CBBE-3BBB mod offers a hotkey to switch between the two states. Many run in CPBC mode when in regular play, since SMP can gulp clock cycles and due to it's edge-stability, it can require period resets to clear residual errors in its control algorithms, which can be done using the CPBC/SMP hotkey provided by the CBBE-SMP mod MCM), or for items (hair, clothes) by unequipping and then re-equipping them.
