polluxval Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 I think a whole thread is not exactly necessary but a little "reason" on the name should be good. You just said it yourself, there is only a bunch of people who had been banned and contrary to other sites LL staff it's very patience and friendly. So, if people can watch the main reason for the ban, they should avoid falling in the same problem, so in time, it will become an easy job for everyone. Also it will show that LL doesnt have that NazyComplex that goes around other sites and that they really earned the ban.
johneb Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I like KT but I think getting banned has turned into kind of a hobby for him.
Halstrom Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Question, how about a stickied thread in one of the subsections, I guess in announcements, general discussion, or off topic, for discussing banned members? That way people have a place to go to say "why was x banned?" Speaking of which, why did domgar/lady luck get banned a while back? Because unlike Nexus we don't want to display a scoreboard for people to be impressed on how many bannings a day we can get. It maybe wouldn't be a terrible idea to edit a banned members signature with a quick and simple explanation if it's something noteworthy. A thread is an awful idea though in my opinion, it just creates a central place where everybody can see the sites dirty laundry. Yeah, sounds good to me, a lot of those banned have annoying half screen picture sigs anyway, replace them with adverts for kitten rescue & relocation

Didn't even think of that, but now that you've mentioned it, I think that this would be the best method of informing others.
