bebis Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 I'm using Vortex, Vortex worked perfectly for LE, I'm not looking to change my mod organizer.SOS SE isn't working for me - No SOS in MCM, skin textures install correctly, no Schlong textures or model appears on the PC or NPC's, just a gap where you can see through the model to whats behind it. I'm running XPMSSE (NOT XPMSE) as well. My issues are numerous with this. According to Vortex, I have FNIS, SkyUI, Racemenu, SOS, and XPMSSE all enabled, but in the in-game Mods tab there is a "Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm", "SOS - Smurf Average Addon.esp", "Schlongs of Skyrim.esp", "SOSRaceMenu.esp", and "XPMSE.esp" that are not enabled. Whenever I enabled SOS mods or whenever I enable XMPSSE, it gives me a SkyUI Error code 5. After poolaying around with what's enabled, I have enabled certain combinations which shows male characters with underwear, and even once managed to get schlongs to appear, but at the cost of having SkyUI. I have SOS loading before XMPSSE and have tried both installing and not installing the SOS skeleton when prompted. That leads to my second issue. I put this on the backburner because the SOS should, in theory, be easier to install and have functioning than the female body's and giving them physics. Therefore, I have less information for this but help would greatly be appreciated. Earlier I managed to have a Leyanda skin with UNPB working, although I'm not sure if I want to continue with UNP or transition to CBBE. During that time frame, women would properly appear naked. In XPMSSE, I have clicked the correct physics option, yet the body install would block out any options relying on those. That's not even including my issues with SMP and CBPC. If anyone is able and willing to assist me on that front, I feel like I may need much help in getting the female body mods installed, including the extras. Ideally, I would have wanted SMP for everything, being a better HDT than what you can have in Oldrim, but apparently that can cause CTD and frame issues, so I would like to have standard physics for all female NPCs, with the abillity to toggle SMP on specific ones. Also I might need help getting Futa mods installed correctly, with the no-schlong schlong option so that I can assign a % chance of any given NPC having one. But since I can't even get SOS to work on males, having it work on females will be even more complex. Any and all help is appreciated, I literally bought Skyrim SE specifically for it's capabilities and better models, and I will be very bummed if the one thing I wanted it for, I am unable to do with it. Thanks! Edit: as a minor update, XMPSSE enabling causes SkyUI to become non-fucntioning and have the error 5.
DoggosBone Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 This is the order I did mine and it worked for me. Running on SSE 2.0.17. 1. Install SkyUI (latest version and SKSE 1.5.97) 2. Install SOS 3. Install XP32 and its requirements (make sure SOS compatibility patch is enabled) 4. (Optional) Install SOS Compatible textures and/or HDT-SMP for SOS 5. Load order: SkyUI > SOS > XP32 6. Plugin Load order: run LOOT! 5. Profit! I've never used vortex but it seems error 5 might be because of a file overriding SkyUI. Hope this helps.

No, I prefer how it uses rules, has nexus compatibillity, and want actual help rather than snobbery on whether generic mod organizer A is better than B, or if C is a decent alternative.

And your problems I've literally never heard of happening before so it seems like you've gone horrifically wrong somewhere in the fundamentals of modding. Error 5 from Skyui means something vital is being overwritten, you should right click on the mod and show file conflicts to see what is doing that. Xp32 has no interaction with SkyUI as far as I'm aware apart from adding a MCM menu, but it preventing it from working I have never heard of.

One click from Nexus mods straight into vortex, no need to do anything else. I am still seriously confused what the issue was/is. Right now I have SOS in my MCM but have yet to install XPMSSE, I will edit this comment with the results. EDIT: Not sure what was different this time (4th reinstall), but I won't complain. For anyone here later on, I literally have just been installing mods from here in the order they're posted, and I haven't installed every mod there. Now just to try and make physics work in-game.

One click from nexus to vortex often leaves out essential update or optional files so you'd have to go into the files tab anyway, kind of a redundant feature most of the time. Good luck with your modding

That's great it worked for you in the end. For physics it's fairly straight forward just install the right mods and DOUBLE check you have the right version of the mod for your game version, that's what got me when I first started. Good luck!

Thanks! Computer files have been giving me trouble since I tried to install mods for minecraft in like 2011. Sometimes it just doesnt work, but you take the file out, put it back in, and it does. As for the physics, I have physics, I have CBPC and SMP installed, and for now I'm just going by a "if it ain't broke" system.
