error on save load

whenever I try to load a recent save, the game loads me directly into the sleeping giant inn, regardless of where the save was made, other than a save inside camillas store. That save loads fine even though literally everything else, like sexlab and SoS are acting like they are being used for the first time. All I really add to my install are followers, other than the initial install, years ago, of sexlab and SoS. Sexlab works fine, though, once I 'install' it ingame.

Did you ever cleaned your save with fallrimtools after adding removing mods from your LO?

Just so everybody is clear.... You load save, your in sleeping giant inn, sos and sexlab acts like it is being installed for first time, and if you play for awhile and even level up some if you make a save file somewhere other than sleeping giant inn when you load save you'll be in sleeping giant inn? My guess is what ever you think your saving its not going to where your saves are, do you have multiple mod managers? very strange,even for Skyrim

Only use mod organizer. I have one other save inside of the place where you get the quest for the golden claw. That loads fine, other than SOS and sexlab acting like they've never been used before. I haven't tried creating a new character, yet.

go to your data folder, steam/steamapps/Skyrim/data and tell me if you have sos or sexlab esps in there

 

How long have you used MO and what did you use prior

I used nexus mod manager prior to switching to Mod Organizer. I see SoS esp and the sexlab esm

thats what I thought. You used nmm, which puts stuff into your data folder. You did not clean your data folder and you set up MO, cant do that. MO needs a vanilla data folder to work right. You have 2 options. You can nuke it all, reinstall skyrim through steam. Or you can follow this link to make skyrim vanilla again. either way I will assist as much as I can. But you need to choose route moving forward so I know what your doing.

 I think reinstalling would be easier if you have good connection for reinstalling skyrim, either way at some point we ned to verify intergity of game files through steam

This normally happens if you remove a mod while the save is relying on the mod. I had this when i deinstalled wheels of lul, while being in a wheels of lul questmap. 

The easiest way should be to start a new game or load another earlier save. Or restore your mod setup.
