Jackfrost88 Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 So when Schlongs of Skyrim.esp is active I get consistent ctd near Fort Dunstad, possibly other places as well. NetScriptFramework suggests that it might be an issue with male facegen or brow textures. I tried reinstalling SOS, Tempered Skins and XP32 but that didn't help. Load order doesn't seem to matter. I moved SOS towards the top and bottom of the load order, to no avail. Anyone got an idea what else I could try? If I could be sure that just one area was affected I could manage but this seems more like a general issue that could happen at other locations as well. Any help would be appreciated. Illana Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 are you sure it's sos? Does it happen if u start a new game without SoS installed?

Well I'm not sure that SOS is the single cause but I can say for certain that when I disable Schlongs of Skyrim.esp the ctd does not happen. I only found out by deactivating mods in batches to narrow it down.
Illana Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 deactivating mods on the same save will not give u conclusive results. Turn of SoS, start a new game and then go there and see if u crash

Going by the info I have so far it should have something to do with the male bandits at that fort, yet I've been to other locations with bandits on my save with no crashes at all (even two different forts)...
coolfreaky Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 you can try and clean your save game from bloating orphan scripts : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031

coolfreaky Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 you can test and see with what sos is reacting with by leaving it enable and continue checking the other mods . my knowledge is limited just about cleaning with fallrim but it offers more options you should investigate it more .
Jackfrost88 Posted June 3, 2020 Author Posted June 3, 2020 So it turns out mfg fix version 1.51 is causing the ctd. Thanks to V3rni3r for figuring it out! The author is working on a fix, in the meanwhile downgrading to version 1.50 will help.
