How do I properly use sexbound?

You do not have the Lustbound patch for SBR even though you're running SBR, so that's probably it. Lustbound replaces several chunks of code in Sexbound, even Reborn, so without the patch, it's hammering the mod and leaving holes where the new code should be.

Hey at least you have the updated TeratoScenes, props! Most people make the mistake there.

Okay, I've downloaded the Lustbound patch as you said. Don't know how I missed that ? There is, however, a new problem. On startup, Starbound is now throwing an exception. Now I've heard of this one before but I'm not sure how to fix it. For clarity's sake, I'll include an image of the error. As we can see, the error is caused by the missing dependency "lox_sexbound". I've seen this error before when I tried to use the GFY and Defeat mods, so I just stopped using them because I assumed they were broken or something. To me, lox_sebound sounds like a file that would be integral to the Sexbound mod, and yet I'm missing it? Weird and I'm unsure how to solve this issue. Perhaps I installed Sexbound incorrectly? Either way, thank you for your help so far!

... i'm afraid of asking how you installed the Lustbound patch... Because, ironically, your previous log shows you have the Sexbound Reborn, installed correctly and everything.

So... despite me knowing something weird is about to happen, i will ask, how did you, by chance, install the patch?

Oh jeez, I'm afraid too ? I just downloaded it from LoversLab and pasted the files into Sexbound, overwriting any files it said already existed. I assumed that's how you're supposed to install such a patch, but perhaps I'm wrong? Maybe overwriting the metadata caused this? I'm not sure.

nope nope nope that's not how you install the patch just put the lustbound patch into the mods folder

Aw yeesh! I totally misunderstood how to install it, seems like. Just reinstalled without overwriting and it works! Thanks for your help everyone! Hopefully anyone else who makes my mistake will find this thread ?

Hello, I have the problem described before about using the Afrodite's Bow, using the sex node and nothing happens, after some tries with the sex node i looks like it doesn't have any sex position

 

 

Even the NPC's stay still not doing anything.

 

 

Before this happened all was working normally after I downloaded some mods sex nodes did'nt work anymore. Any idea?, I attached my logs.

You are using a TON of supports, wow.

Okay, let's see, first the main breakers...
You seem to be using Sexbound (Original by loxodon/locuturus) as opposed to Reborn, yet you're running the Reborn version of PoV Redux (4.2.0). I'd recommend sticking to matching versions, and using PoV Redux 4.1.0.

Yet, you're using the properly outdated Teratoscenes! Weird.

You also do have the Reborn patches despite not using SxB Reborn. Namely the lustbound and aphrodite's bow patches.

Other than that, most things seem fine. There is no big blame on workshop mods, and if any race supports fail to work fully, beware, it's because you are likely using outdated ones.

So yeah:
Advice, is to pick one or the other;
Use Reborn since you already have all the other bits for it, Redux 4.2.0 is already there and so are the patches, just gotta get the updated Terato-Scenes and you'd be golden (The one named "SxB - Temtem's TeratoScenes")

If you want to stick with Original Sexbound due to the current limitations (No fem-x-fem content allowed, harder pregnancy management, etc) then you can downgrade the version of PoV Redux to the proper 4.1 version and then remove the SBR patches.

I'm using Sexbound Reborn, at first the .pak version, but as I wanted to add the Bigger Busts mod I replaced the .pak version by its source version, it worked. Yeah man, it was Terato, changing it to the right version did the trick. Really, thank you, I'll take the hints you mentioned for new mods I apply.

Can someone maybe show me their mod list? I'm trying to figure out which mods are compatible right now with Sexbound Reborn. Here's images of the mods I have currently installed. Some of them said they required Sexbound API, and Sexbound Reborn says not to use it with Sexbound, so I'm assuming that the API is in it. Also the InertiaBodies mod doesnt seem to work

First off, as a hint for the future, posting a single log file says more than a thousand screenshots (and takes up alot less space).

 

With that being said, your screenshots point out the following:
You're using "Lustbound Tentacle Tweak". Bad. Imagine Lustbound, but for old Sexbound, the not-"updooted" version, and then a step older and more broken. That thing shouldn't even work by itself.

You're using "Naturally Horny". Bad. That thing's included in SBR and will only break stuff if installed as well.

 

The rest is fine - or atleast I don't remember any reports about bugs or incompatibilities. For as far as those mods themselves ever worked, considering you have defeat installed, and a Teratophilia addon - one of which, don't know exactly which of the Terramon versions it was, crashes your worlds if not inofficially patched.

You don't opem the interaction menu "on NPCs". It open when you lounge in (interact with, sit down in) a sexnode (furniture that was modded to support sex. By default most vanilla tables and everything you slap a T1/T2 SxB Addon on, which can be bought at the Outpost's Infinity Express). When an NPCs joins the same node, you can control their part of the sexual interaction too. NPCs naturally get horny every couple hours of time actively being loaded in, otherwise you need other mods for more direct control like "Aphrodite's Bow", "EBs Lovely Whips" or similar.
