freezing problem

So i've just installed wicked whims and it was working fine up until i just opened my game and now my sims will just freeze. the time will tick by then pause and my sims will freeze. when i pause in game time everything catches up again, I took out wicked whims and tested for the same problem and the game worked fine, then after adding it back in it did the same freezing / time pausing thing again so its definitely this mod. anyone else had this problem and resolved it? its really frustrating

Sounds pretty much like simulation lag, where your game is trying to do more than it can handle at once, so you should either try turning down your graphics settings to reduce demand or install a simulation lag fix mod.

You could start a new game and check whether this helps. WW may have initialization issues, it shouldn't take too much ressources.
