Problem after combining shards into crest

I have a possible bug. I gathered all four shards and put them into their slots, receiving the Aetherium Crest. Then the screen said to stand clear, but nothing happened. There was still a quest marker, seemingly buried underground, but the tower did not rise. I advanced the quest via console commands, which caused a tower to rise, but no other opening appeared. Well, the tower looks like a glorified gazebo, but I can't do anything inside a hollowed out, empty rain shelter. I currently can't get inside anything or progress any further (unless I were to enter more console commands, perhaps, but that's no fun). I think the problem occurred because I put the Aetherium shards together and grabbed the crest before Katria even showed up (she was, in fact, buried in the hill, too far away to interact without clipping through the landscape). This problem occurred on the PC.

So doss somebody know to Fix this?

Does seem like an issue with Katria not being there, like you said.

 

If you have a prior save before going there or a save as you get there, try reloading it. Then either wait for her to show up before you begin the process, or use the console to select her and teleport her to you.

 

prid xx006754 (this will target her)

 

Then when her number shows up on the screen while in the console, use:

 

moveto player

 

And bam. She will appear right at you. Then she should continue the quest as normal.

 PC   When traveling to the Storeroom in Mzulft, already had the shard and sold it, Katria wants you to pick

it up from there. However you have to find that shard back or get the item "xx01433C" (for me xx was 02) and

if you then get a glowing Crystal Shard you will have to set the stage to DLC1LD 40 (DLC1LD_Misc 40 if it

doesn't work), sometimes it's 20, 30, 40, or 50. (The shard won't be in your inventory which is may causing

you to use the stage "DLC1LD 170" later when instructed to place the shards at the forge but it's the only

way to continue the quest.)  This is Whats doing it!

Will I Got this Dame Quest DONE! It was a LOT of work had to use Console Commands and i got the Aetherial Crown in the end.

Sorry for the necro but after a long ass search this is the only topic I can find with a solution that has the exact issue I have. Can you explain fully how you did it? I have the four pieces but Katria is in the Storeroom (Mzulf), I can console her to the forge but cant get it continue properly

Mini necro, BUMP!

I used the console to move Katria to me and to progress the quest stages, but it still gets to Stand Clear and stops.

Gazebo doesn't raise and Katria won't talk to me to tell me to put the shards on it to begin with. Only the journal progresses and I can't get into the forge.

(place & take shards now to progress to Stand Clear)

Quest should progress normally now, just continue in and do your thing.

If after you forge something it DOESN'T progress again, use:

setstage dlc1ld 225

 

It completed successfully for me after that.
