mod Extreme script/NPC chat lag when using Devious Devices

Hi,

 

When using devious devices I have extreme lag when talking to any NPC where I can initiate a conversation with them but I can't see or hear any response before the chat window expires or my response option is available. However if I say something and then back out of a chat after I have said my part then the NPC response does appear on screen.

 

I have narrowed it down to the devious devices mod as I don't get this issue with any other mod I have installed when this mod is disabled.

 

Is there any help you can give with this particular issue?
