Cozy Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Random, and I know no one cares, but because of my previous experience with Oblivion of stopping gameplay CONSTANTLY to add mods, I've decided to get that out of the way before I dive into Skyrim. So I have been very meticulous in choosing mods I feel will likely be necessary, I have a bunch of mods ready, including adult mods, Now once I get Armed to the Teeth set up and a few little odds and ends installed I'll finally feel ready to play without distraction. I'm most likely going to dive in using Sanguine's Debauchery as a means to set up my character in a roleplaying sense. The events of that mod will occur when they are quite young, making her as an adult a real bitch with a chip on her shoulder. Who can blame her? Most likely a good candidate for the Dark Brotherhood, but then one has to wonder can she be redeemed? I don't know, but I sure have enough mods along with vanilla content for that to be a possibility. Just excited that after about a month I'm finally ready to jump in. Yes I'm a procrastinator, plus I've been testing every single mod I install, and I got sidetracked and I wound up posting here a lot. Not to worry I'll stick around. But today as I chug cough syrup for my cold, I find myself very close to completion keeping the number of mods hopefully under 150, so i can have room for 100 more as new releases pique my interest. Hard to tell though, right now I'm at about 110. 255 is the limit, so gotta choose carefully.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Took you longer to mod Skyrim than it took for me to get bored of it.
Guest Plastrader Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I am actually. Nice to read that you may now play the game the way you want to. However I do have a question. 100+ mods? I've read about people who has a lot of mods installed, but as they write them down to being everything from ENB to editing the .ini-files1 I really haven't been interesting in knowing what mods they use. You've mentioned Sanguine's Debauchery, but what might the other ones be? You don't have to list everything, just a group say "Clothing" etc. I think I have to reconsider me not using any mods at all, seeing I only use two... 1 ENB and ini-files aren't game mods in my world, or any other of those "System tweaks"
Cozy Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 In terms of Adult Mods Sanguine's Debauchery ZAZ Rescources ZAZ AnimationsXAZ Bondage Sexis Animated Prostitution When there are compatibility issues I use as needed, like for SD, I'll turn AP off. Various others... Clothing Mods Weapon Mods Quest Mods Companions Mods Utility Mods Beauty Mods (Hair Eyes etc..) Misc Mods Patches etc... Edit: Derp Spell Mods... LOTS of Spell mods! I like feeling like God when I really advance in the game.
kaosmu Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 You're just like me xD I've downloaded Skyrim 2 months ago and I never went as far as the first dragon fight. It's just that everytime I wanted something different. For now i'm just focusing in making my character and I will be ready to go, since I got all the armors, weapons, clothes and misc mods that I wanted.(and of course, adult stuff)
cornbreadtm Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I'm at 255 and have played through the game with several characters... but I keep thinking, "if I could only add more".... If you like spells, I'd suggest Spell Combos. Probably the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off!
Cozy Posted February 25, 2013 Author Posted February 25, 2013 Finally done finishing with 155 mods installed just barely meeting my objective. Finally going to play the game now.
Sensual Nautilus Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 On my first play through, the only incentive I needed to begin was a Dr Zoidberg voice and texture replacer for mudcrabs XD Oh the hours I spent in the mudpools every once and a while after quests...
Toastman Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I keep adding and throwing some away.. trying to find the right game set I want damn I think it will never end aha. Nearly reaching 200, is 255 the cap or no?
Zenduchy Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 i broke my game so many times just cause i like to look for new mods and i end up corrupting my save but i better do what you did lol set a limit of mod and star playing
Phelps1247 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 It's taken me 3 months and I'm still messing around with stuff. Finally managed to get all the hair mods I want working without crashing. Got the face I want but keep messing around with different variations on other races anyway. Still working on the ENB and body options.

But overall getting most of it out of the way, while tedious has made things a lot easier now that I am playing. I also back up my data folder, and saves religiously. In fact I am in the middle of a back up now, which is why I am posting instead of playing.
dboura Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Heh, I keep finding myself installing new ones daily and sometimes even when it CTD/Freezes prior to rebooting it up
Cozy Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 Heh, I keep finding myself installing new ones daily and sometimes even when it CTD/Freezes prior to rebooting it up Yep just stumbled upon this thread, which means I'm going to be installing more clothing mods soon. I'm going to have to make a bashed patch eventually for all the clothing mods to cut down the number of mods. 176 and counting.

LMAO a teaser thread to me, I'm using UNPB + BBP but there's some good outfits there
Curseddonut Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Seeking some advice here.....Just as I wanted to play Skyrim without messing with mods this...this GODDAMN tropical skyrim gets released and Im once again put in doubt. I'm basically starting over with my character (secondish playthrough, lost my other safe when my harddrive died) and now I cant decide whether I should play with the tropical skyrim and get this feel of a whole new land, or Finish skyrim on the current save and play my second(third) playthrough with the tropical mod so I get a somehow what new world...
nekroskoma Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 what i am begining to hate about modding is that there is no merged mods like in obliivon, though you need all the dlc released and out but still skyre takes up about 8 slots with its modules and some patches to make sure the proccer does modded weapons right, then come things like insanitys weapon mods which i have about 10, then wet and cold and the modules for individual dlc if all this shit was merged my count would probably drop by 20-30 good thing i can merge some quick mods int a bashed patch (training per level, renames and the like), personally im at 174/189 right now
