How to weight paint armor?

I'm modelled a full armor set in Blender and I want to place it in game but I jsut can't do it. I place the armor in Outfit Studio to copy weights from the closest vanilla set I found and it always screws it up.

The weight of the arms always goes to the torso, or the torso goes to the arms, I've tweaked the search radius but nothing changes, I tried weight painting it manually but the tools in outfit ar really bad. Can't I just weight paint everything in Blender and export it into Skyrim? That would be so much better.

Isn't there an actual efficient and effective method of getting armors in Skyrim? Weapons and statics are a cake walk compared to this. Just feels like I wasted a bunch of time making an armor for nothing...

Use the Target Body as Reference, not a other armor for copy weights. And set the skinned propertie before.

Did that too. Still screws it up.
