LavenderCat Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 So, as is my usual life, I run into a bug that has a perfectly logical explanation, and I'm not sure how to fix it without removing everything (painful for this playthrough because a lot of these mods have dependencies on each other and I'm going to die if I try that). So, I turn to you all for help! As it says in the title, I can't open any dialogue with any settler unless they are a vendor or giving a quest. Big Yikes for me. So, things of not: I've been using the coc commands for a few days (2 or 3 at most) because I'm getting tired of spending whole hours walking from one settlement, to the next, only to have to go back. I walked back to sanctuary and OH BOY! few things were rendering and houses that I had scrapped MONTHS ago were suddenly back (with poor graphics). As usual, my load order is attached! Other things have been graphical bugs like walls on buildings (SS buildings) only showing up from one side. At this point, ALL of my settlements has SS buildings so I'm more scared to get rid of it. All I really want to do is trade some things, and console commands can only go so far. Thank you all for taking a look at this! LoadOrder_Fallout4_2020-04-09T18-01-55.txt
bill8872 Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Check the RES mod's. I had issue with some, ans if I have been reading correctly they are not supported any longer. I am also so not sure how compatible with AAF it is. I had an issue with RES Brothels change name to client, so that might be the settler issue. As far as what you scraped, and it came back. Scrap everything can do that. I would update that to the latest version, that combines all the DLCs. The bugs with SS building might be related to scrap everything, but kinda doubt it. Might have to check on there page about that one.

bill8872 Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 same with me. I broke the animation's, now reinstalling them, as I think I put in some I should not have. Or messed with then\m and did not remove enough.

Arcturus7777 Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 save, exit game, restart, load fixed the settler thing for me. Just seems to be happening in settlements with lots of settlers, and lots of building done. Could be wrong not happened enough yet to be sure.
