What you need to do is look through your load order and see what mod(s) changes Dragonsreach, its interior and its occupants. Your problem might not be with the structure but with a change in the firepit. Or it might be an mod that changes NPC appearance that happens to have fouled up Irileth (for example). However, you are the best judge of which mods in your load order are likely to do that since you are probably the only person whose read the descriptions for this list of mods (you did read the descriptions, didn't you?)

As I mentioned, it doesn't have to be with Dragonsreach per se. It could affect items found in Dragonsreach and commonly is caused by things that change NPC looks and equipment.
monsta88 Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Try disabling Royal Armory. I don't have that and I have no problem with Dragonsreach (in my DBG run).
Nepro Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Try this DD fix if you use devious devices: Never mind. You don't use it. I found out that by uninstalling snow under the roof and its related other fix mods it fixed a lot location specific CTDs for me worth a try
sparral Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Depending on how many mods you have installed this could be a tedious process but with only legacy of the dragonborn and any dependencies it has go to just before the CTD location on a new/clean save. Once there make a new save and back out of the game. Than start enabling the rest of your mods a few at time than go to the CTD location, if no crash happens than you know none of those are the conflicting mod/mods. So back out of game enable some more and try again, repeat this process until you CTD than you will know the culprit is a mod in the last set of mods you enabled. So go through disabling those 1,2, or 3 at a time until you CTD again. This will lead you to the conflicting mod so you can either drop said conflicting mod from your order or open Xedit with both legacy of the dragon born and the conflicting mod loaded. Than find the conflicting files and give the proper prioritization. Another option don't know for MO2 but for vortex I can give advice on is that loose files will load after bsa files despite deploy order. So check these mods to see if they are loose file installs or bsa file installs. If one is bsa and the other is loose that could be your issue right there so you can either make them both bsa files by repacking the loose files as bsa with cathedrals assets from the nexus or using Bethesda Archive Extractor ( don't know if cathedrals unpacks bsa files or not haven't used it that much myself ) to unpack the bsa files to loose files than repacking and reinstalling the mod. Either way this will ensure your deploy order is being deployed as you have set it to be.
