Atomic Muscle is a body replacer based on EVB and with the same idea as SAM ( 2 Major body sliders + Genital sliders).
2 body sliders only because its easier to refit, with the downside of simple customization but can still be combined with vanilla sliders to accomplish various body shapes.

Just install with your mod manager like any other regular mod. If you have any other male body installed for any reason, you may want to load this after it.
Since it comes with prebuilt meshes for vanilla outfits, you may want to load this before outfit replacers.

The load order for other mods, in your assets order (left panel if you are mo2 user) should be something like:

For the plugins order (right panel for mo2 users) You just want to load all the AM Bodygen plugins after MaleBodies.esm and UlfSkinOverlay.esp:

Once you have installed your body, you may want customize it right away. Open looksmenu by bringing the console up then use SLM 14 to open the looksmenu for the player character or while the console is up, left click on the npcs you want to open the looksmenu for (an id will show up on the center) and enter SLM SHOWED_UP_NPC_ID_HERE > Like SLM 24cdb3.
With the looksmenu interface up, select the Body option, then go to Advanced. There you may find some sliders you can make use of to customize your body.

During FOMOD installation you'll notice some options that will give you bodyslide files. Those are meant for modders only to be used on any projects they may have as i believe users shouldnt have to go through bodyslide, just to have a body functioning.
? The regular naked projects can be used for skimpy outfits.
? The Nevernude for non skimpy outfits (NOTE that you are free to customize the bulge slider on your outfit the way you want).
? The Hands projects have the Nuka Bull and Nuclear Bodybuilder sliders on it to make the wrist more thicker and to match the body proportions more.
? The NeverNude/Cut/Uncut + Hands projects are just meant to be used to make it easier to conform from outfits that cover both the wrist/hands and the forearms. You dont want to keep it on the end of your project depending on how the outfit looks like (because the hand textures are messed up in this one)

ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT THING:
All the bodyslide projects, including the vanilla outfits, were added to a slider group, its called Atomic Muscle in bodyslide. You can directly DOWNLOAD HERE:

Q: Can you add X or Z slider?
A: Sorry, unfortunately not any other additional sliders will be implemented as bodymorph. The idea of the mod is to keep it simple slider wise to make it easier to refit and avoid clippings as much as possible.
I understand that some people may miss a bit more of customization complexity, but i believe having a body that is easier to support is a good trade off. There are other options available in nexus though.
However, other sliders may come with a possible skeleton scaling for looksmenu, like it is for SAM for Racemenu.

Q: I installed the mod and there's no bodyslide file, what did i do?
A: You picked the I am a regular user option. Bodyslide files are just meant for modders/people who want to make their own projects/refits. This body was set up with prebuilt meshes so you can fully customize in looksmenu (Please see Usage section) without unnecessary and additional steps just to install the body. So you can say this mod is just plug-and-play so you dont have to go through bodyslide, just to have the body functioning.

Q: Everyone have the same body in game, everyone is twinky.
A: You want to check for the Bodygen option during the FOMOD installation. That will allow you to have npcs with different bodymorphs as well as having npcs with different body textures (If you checked the Skingen option: Requires Ulfberth Skin Overlays for Male Bodies and its requirements).

Q: The installation is stuck on 50% saying (a problem occured during instal) / I cant install with Nexus Mod Manager, what is wrong?
A: The FOMOD for Atomic Muscle wont work on Nexus Mod Manager because some features are not supported by the last. Like the NotUsable operator.
Mod Organizer 2(specially) or Vortex are the only options of mod managers you want to.

Q: Some dead bodies are invisible/floating head
A: Bodygen's fault. In other words, its because of looksmenu. No, i not gonna stop providing support to Bodygen because of that. I believe having body randomization as a trade off is a good deal. But lets hope one day it'll get fixed by expired or someone else.

Q: My CBP physics is not working!!!
A: most users dont manage to get CBP physics working because they have not picked the right file.

Note that you need to pick the third file in the CBP download tab (F4SE v0.6.20 | Game version 1.10.163 | Mod version 0.1.8)

Q: The textures are purple. The body doesnt have genitals / the body is a ken doll
A: You need to set up the archive invalidation. You want to add to fallout4custom.ini the following settings. (If you are using mo2 you need to open with ini editor/ everything else, you need to go to documents/fallout4 folder)

Turns out there were a Resetall() internal function inside of bodygen, which allows one to reset the bodygen effect in all npcs.

With that in mind, i added an archive in the download section called Bodygen Reset Script. In order to use the script you have to:

Hey Ulfbearth.

I (finally) made the switch to your (so far) amazing body. Very sexy and so easy to use :D

 

I have a question though: do I HAVE to have CBP (or any other) physics installed? It is not entirely clear from the description. And I prefer not to have physics installed if possible.

In short:

1) In "templates.ini" create preset with all zero sliders

2) In "morphs.ini" assign this preset to all dead bodies NPC.

 

I tested this on bodies form Far Harbor and it really works.

Dead bodies will not have variety except skins, still better then invisibility.

Aw... Thats not really a solution if i cant touch dead bodies. But thanks for letting me know.

While heads hanging in the air break immersion too much.

Invisibility bug mostly happens with placed dead NPC, which never intended to be seen alive by player. They all have "corpse" in EditorID. Only about 40 in main game.

Hmm, i guess you are right. Can you make a list of dead bodies IDs? So i can remove them?

Just removing them will not work. They must be present in ini file, but with zero preset.

 

I used the following: Atomic Muscle Zero Sliders=

i just checked your ini and the corpses were already present in the original bodygen, so your version has them duplicated

The method i used to implement the bodygen was to spawn every unique npc to assign a combination of sliders that would fit him and assigned generic templates to leveled npcs (like minutemen, BoS, Raiders and etc). So thats why they were on the list.

I also used a fo4edit script to list all the human male npcs, so it probably cant recognize a dead body npc

Yes, I didn't delete your old lines with the same ID. For testing purpose.

Lower lines  in ini file will have priority (confirmed by testing) according to LM BodyGen logic.

In final version duplicate ID should be deleted to save CPU time.

In final version duplicate ID should be deleted to save CPU time.

oh i wasnt expecting for that! So both ids are processed but only the last is parsed?

I think that whole morphs.ini file is processed and parsed, then LM BodyGen decides what to implement.

 

Because each line can represent not only specific NPC base, but group of NPC. Like I saw in Fusion Girl morphs.ini

So you can define bodies for groups, then define bodies for specific NPCs.

Specific NPC can be a member of group and it would cause a conflict if LM BodyGen did not process morphs.ini as whole.

So thought I'd give this a try this time around over BodyTalk, but I ran into an issue with it.

 

For some reason, my bodies look like this:

They looked fine when I built them in BodySlide, but ingame this is how they turn out. Any ideas?

 

EDIT: Just a quick note. So far, it seems like the only outfit that is like this. Mind you, I've just done the intro and Vault 111 part lol. But I'll keep an eye out if any others are messing up, but so far, all the other outfits seem fine and the nude body is fine. Just this one outfit that I found that looks like this.

Dont build Atomic Muscle files in bodyslide. Bodyslide files for Atomic Muscle are just meant for modders or just for who is looking foward to make refits themselves.
The mod is just plug and play, bodyslide is not even required. That should fix your problem.

But going to the technical details. Thats happening probably because the current Atomic Muscle reference shape is totally different to the one used to make the vanilla refits. It now has more polygons (mostly because of the anus sculpt i made) and vertex order. With a mismatch reference shape loaded in your setup, things can look wrong
