cronos12 Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 Hi, Im having a problem with mostly creature meshes. The issue is - I want to remove/replace certain parts of creature bodies , but when i remove for example gloves from riekling , his mesh seems really messed up ingame, disfigured like i removed some bones or something. On most of the creatures its not a problem, only on some. It even messes up if I only add some parts which I properly weighted and set partitions in a right way. I do all this process only in Outfit studio, no nifskope involved. I can imagine the problem can be found in nifskope...or CK ?
coolfreaky Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 may be there is another way ! make a save file than : in nifskope you right click on " spells " than you select " batch " and last you click on " update all tangent spaces " . and save.
cronos12 Posted March 29, 2020 Author Posted March 29, 2020 Still not working. Now I even tried only to sculpt the mesh in outfit studio (made arms skinnier) without removing or adding new parts of mesh and it still breaks. To go more into detail...I use original meshes of riekling from mod Animal SOS and want to just remove hair from model. When I edit the mesh of riekling in any way it makes the schlong detach from his body and appear behind him ingame.
coolfreaky Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 you might need to clean and weight paint the mesh again. for the schlong part did you install " Body HDT Genitals "

Anyway...original mod works fine, schlongs are ok, movable and not deformed behind actors. I found out that it destroys the schlong mesh if I dont even edit it. I just open it in Outfit studio and then export overwrite. What do you mean by clean and weight again? Like I should remove bone weights and then manualy paint everything ?
coolfreaky Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 sorry my mistake looked at the wrong file ! generally stretching and bones problems are due to wrong skeleton ! may be when exporting the mech you accidently change your preference settings . Sometimes blender keep in memory some wrong weight data and every thing works fine until you try to modify it . same thing can happen in nifskope . did outfit studio fixed your issue ?
cronos12 Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 Thanks it worked ! I have never even looked into outfit studio settings lol. I only changed the reference skeleton to specific one I wanted and then normaly exported and everything works. Im so glad
