Is it even possible to get SE to run a pregnancy mod?

Been trying for hours to get this thing working. I wanted to use Beeing Female, but that's actually broken, and none of the fixes stop the instant CTD. So I went with Hentai Pregnancy instead. Now, I've gotten belly/breast nodes to work before, but not on SE. I figured, why not try now that things have calmed down with it?

Except now, all the 'functions' of everything work fine, but none of the actual scaling works.

Anyone have any insight into ACTUALLY getting scaling nodes to do anything in Special Edition? I've followed probably about five or six different guides, and none of them seem to work as advertised.

I guess my first question is whether or not CBBE for SE has a belly node. I'm guessing not. But then, what body can I even use that has a conversion set for Immersive armors and vanilla? Any help would be greatly appreciated. In any case, even the breasts don't scale, so I have to wonder if I'm missing a mod or something somewhere. I've got RaceMenu, CBBE, Bodyslide, XPSME, and Sexlab Framework. What more could I need?

i was having the same issue and so i tried Hentai Pregnancy as well but this should make it work better. (at least it did in my case)

Actually, it did help with the breast stuff! So that's progress! When installing, what do you select? I've gotten the breasts working, but belly scaling still is perplexing me, lol.

Correction: I got the breasts working with clothing only, somehow, but the body itself? Nope. Not sure how that's possible. Batch built AND did the standard build.

If the mod you intend to use for pregnancy uses bodymorphs should be easy, you don't need a body node with morphs. All you have to do is use Bodyslide to build the nude body + outfits with "Build morphs" enabled.

I may have tried that already, but I'll give it another go. It seems like the belly just isn't cooperating, even with in-mod morphing.

Works with breasts, not with belly. What kind of body are you using, or is there an extra skeleton I need besides XMPSE?

So i checked my game and these are the modes i use but not sure witch one handles the belly bulge

 

Fertility Mode

Hentai Pregnancy ---- in the MCM under "Mod Settings" I have "Skeletal Override" active and tweaked the settings till I got the result I liked. (I did use this as the base for the setting in the other 2 mods.)

Player Succubus Quest (PSQ)

 

I have all of these set to the same max values and it produces the result I want. 

 

Note* PSQ may not be needed in your case but for mine it adds scripts and functionality for my succubus playthrough.

i do notice that armor is unaffected by the morphs, so i am still figuring that out

Shoot. So that's an issue too? I finally figured out how to get the body itself to scale properly. Converting to the body you had worked well, but now I don't know what to do about the armor. Might have to try PSVAC, like in the oldrim days. Importing the data from oldrim to bodyslide for UNP worked well enough, but it was a pain, so I went back and tried your body file again, and it was fine.

Starting to think this is actually impossible. I keep running into the idea I should install UUNP body since it actually has a working belly node as well as armor sets that would work with it, but no where can I find a UUNP download link. Lots of old UNP stuff, but nothing about a modern version of this?

Is there a version of CBBE and armor maps that have a belly node? It seems like anything CBBE, even if forced, doesn't work well with belly node pregnancies whatsoever. I think this may actually be impossible.

Actually, no! This looks great! But... what armors should I use with it? I'm hesitant to use this one because I FINALLY got everything working together by using old UNP files from Oldrim, porting them to the new Bodyslide, and kind of fandangling it a little.

I'd rather not break what I have without a clear knowledge of how this is better and/or more reliable, lol. I've been trying to figure this kind of thing out off and on since SE was released and subsequently broken a hundred times over by Bethesda.

You can go on using your old UUNP compatible armors, really, even if there are a few BHUNP conversions for certain armor sets floating around.

Hey, this actually worked out really well. Thanks for that link earlier.

Now if only I could get breasts IN clothing to not be massive compared to when they're NOT in clothing, that'd be even better. I built my batches, I'm pretty sure, but maybe I'm doing something wrong here. Bodyslide has always been a strange thing to me. I'd honestly like to do a total replacement for all the vanilla armors so I don't have to keep manually selecting HDT armors and outfits... but this will do for now.

I've used it with CBBE (LE and SE) and UUNP. I never used UNP alone, because why would you if UUNP offers the same but better? You don't need other skeleton, xpmsse is enough.

 

And for armors is the same, as long as the outfits are bodyslide compatible with your body type all you have to do is build them with Build morphs enabled.
