Naked NPC's in GECK preview

Anybody know why NPC's viewed in the GECK, with no mods loaded, are appearing naked, rather than wearing their armour and weapons?

I noticed that if you add the weapons or armor to their inventory then they equip them in GECK, if you don't have a nude body replacer, they should be wearing underwear

Drop a copy of their outfit into their inventory may be the only way.

But they already have armour and weapons in their inventory. Or do you mean I have to do that again?

 

I'm looking at default NCR soldiers, all of which have the basic mantle armour, bandolier, service rifle, etc, but they all appear naked, and it's driving me insane lol.

They are naked, because the apparel items are leveled lists. They get spawned in-game and thus don't get previewed in the GECK. If you want to preview them you have to give them the specific outfit item.
