They would freeze to death. No they wouldn't because all female armour and clothing is magical and protects agaist the cold. There are dragons and stuff so it's perfectly lore friendly and immersive. Paraphrasing a little but that was the response I got when I questioned someone with a bunch of immersive mods, including frostfall, who was looking for a skimpy armour replacer for women. I didn't continue the discussion as that just made me think he was an idiot (and never argue with idiots, as the saying goes) but also because his opening 3 words were "it's my game" Which actually wins any argument when it comes questioning someones choices in a single player game. As for the OP question, I don't know of any that are only for robes There's Remodeled Armor and the Book of UUNP (both on the nexus) that both have skimpy robes which are based on the vanilla robes but shorter and/or with bare shoulders. Nothing too explicit but these are for all armour and clothing options for the vanilla game covered, not just Mage/priest robes

Absolutely true, and the main thrust of my point: who cares if something is lore-friendly if you enjoy it? All lore is made-up anyway. Latex outfits? Sure, its made in Oblivion, where they have unlocked the technology of rubber. Silk? Plenty of spiders around. In a world of gods and multidimensional magical realms, just about anything can be explained away.

If you're just after individual outfits rather than a complete replacer for all robes then also check out https://skyrimscandal.blogspot.com/ It's not longer updated, sadly but there is still plenty to see there.

I generally work on the lore of the genre, there are Dragons and Magic and God like beings because Tolkien (and dozen other derivative authors) said so. My Illusionist looks to be about 13... Well J.K. Rowling said semed to think that was fine. My Warrior could be anywhere between 16 and 20... Well how old was Thorn Bathu when she fought the Breaker of Swords?.. Joe Abercrombie set that precedent. But Skimpy Armour in a Frozen land?... Not for me. Hence Project Rainforest ?
