WolvesAmongYou Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 I played skyrim with the defeat mod on and it works for awhile then just breaks out of nowhere I cant surrender my character cant have sex with anyone npc cant have npc and npc sex I still get attacked when I try to surrender idk whats wrong

gonzo66 Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 I think there's two bugs here: one can be fixed by hitting the Reconfigure option on defeat's first MCM page. If that doesn't solve the problem then rebind your defeat and surrender keys (and hit the Reconfigure afterwards). Would love to know what causes this myself (my guess would be another mod conflicting with the character's actions) but this is the only workaround I've found that doesn't involve reloading your last save.
Sillius_Maximus Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 For me- there seems to be a problem with calming enemies once ive surrendered. That first cave you come too out of helgen for example? I can be in the by the furnace, surrender, and the guy on the crosswalk (almost in melee range) will keep shotting me, even while the guy next to the furnace is having his way with me. The bleedout /essential thing doesnt seem to work. I think here though, what would need to be added to defeat is what Death alternative has... when you surrender, or are defeated you enter bleedout. bleed out instantly gives you a configuarble health pool (but basically 3 times your max.... this health pool allows time for calm to process on your enemies- so they can finish their attack script, but you arent gonna get sent to some sort of limbo because "your surrendered, but your not, but you are, but your not, but you are, but but but.."
