Reminds me of a savory called an "Empanada" or "Esfiha/Sfiha", the former which is Brazilian, and the later Syrian/Lebanese, kind of a small meat pasty, both of which are delicious. Yea. This however is just pretty much a desert pastry. You dribble\dip\douse it with honey and\or a sprinkle of cinnamon and gobble away. It can also be served with a vanilla bean ice cream. Talk about awesome sauce!!!!!

While all that is nice, what I want to know is how many Sopaipillas can you eat at one sitting? well sopaipillas are from south america (most commonly colombia, uruguay, etc), in mexico it would be TACOS (ence the name tacobell in the US, but their tacos sucks). but now that you mention it, a friend have the super power of eating tacos... im pretty sure he can eat 100 if having the chance. i wouldnt get more than 10. I have a good friend that is Mexican. He invited me over for diner one night and his wife asked me how many taco's I could eat. I told her anywhere from 6-10. She looked me up and down, shrugged her shoulders and said "how about we start you with one and go from there". Needless to say we were talking about 2 completely different versions of "Taco". I was thinking the measly thing you get from Taco Bell vs a full plate covering piled 10" high version complete with pretty much everything other than the kitchen sink. I managed to finish........one. I had to force myself just to do that! Now don't get me wrong.....it was incredibly delicious! It was just the culture shock of seeing potatoes, green beans, corn and other stuff like that in there. After that incident I wisely started taking into account the differences in the authentic vs the Americanized versions of things. Of course I still had a rather embarrassing incident with a curry meat sauce at an Indian restaurant but that is a story for another time..... As to the Sopiapillas, I used to get them in Arizona and just across the boarder into Mexico. I am referring to this: i live at the centric part of mexico and visited many states and never found sopiapillas. i heard about them from latin american restaurant, mostly colombian. some states from the north (near us) took latin american recipies when many people from the deep south tried to cross the border, but never get to the other side and made their living in the north regions of mexico. pretty sure thats why sopiapillas are commonly found on that area. the best mexican food its located on the centric part of the country (many food contests claim that), so if you or the chancellor want to visit mexico some day, let me know and ill show you the best food that can find in mexico. just remember to train your bellys, otehrwise theyll explode. ontopic.... what was the topic of this thread????? oh yea, real life super power... well now that we are talking about food... one real super power i have is that i can get very large amounts of chili without dying. atleast most than the common folk.

Just see them for what they are after 15min. Hated brother friends and family members. Most time they show true colors. All my friends over years and people I work with like family. Power of fashion! Don't matter what game or mmorpg I play. My character creations always 10/10. Some people spend hour on creations. I want perfection. My oufits match my character personality.
