Let's put a couple things on the table. Since you said problems are with Liars Retreat well focus on Gloria.

 

Mod is so simple it's stupid,only a few things in play.

 

1. The cell. Liars Retreat. Let's load all mods into xedit. Expand Captives and expand Cell. Find Liars Retreat(only 8 options for cells)See if other MODS are touching cell. Probably not.

 

2. Gloria,npc from mod found in Liars Retreat. Doubt problem is there. Testing her as problem creates most back work if problem is elsewhere,which it is. 

 

3. Probably where the problem is. Still with Zaz and or how my AI attached to Gloria's used Zaz furniture. Easiest to test?

 

I would temporarily remove AI package from Gloria in xedit that attaches her to her furniture. And test. You need to take 2 minutes in xedit, look at Gloria's AI packages(3) and look at any other Captives AI packages(3) and you will know which AI package Gloria uses for furniture. 

All girls share 2 distinctive packages and then they all have 1 unique package which is for furnitures. Remove particular package from Gloria and see if you can enter cell. This package can be easily re-added.  

 

 

I suspect problem will still be there,but check the cell in xedit,test with her without AI package and let me know mod manager. Curious,are you in middle of play thorough and have you tested on new game?

 

Mod Manager: Nexus Mod Manager (Updated Community Version 0.72.1) 

 

So I'm not super familiar with xedit, but I managed to navigate to Captives.esp and I found the Liar's Retreat cell. The only other mods that seem to be touching the cell are the Unofficial Legendary Edition Patch.esp, EnchancedLightsandFX.esp, and Book Covers Skyrim.esp. 

 

Also I am in the middle of a new(ish) play-through, but I did try a new fresh save and the problem persisted.

 

I will try to fiddle with the AI package like you suggested and see if that works.

Ok so i deleted Gloria's unique package, and it seems to have fixed the crashing. She attacked me at first, but after beating her down she turned friendly and worked as normal (I could get her to follow me out). I'm kind of shocked that this worked and many thanks for the help!

Does anyone have the names of the girls for me? Two have already run away from me again.. :classic_dry:


Shantal, Gloria, Alorea, Sheila, Candy, Andramia I know, the Orkish I have to free first, but one is still missing.. the blonde one, with the green bow in her hair.

What is problem with missing girl(s)?   They are not at location where being held captive? You found them and set them up to stay at particular place and now they are not there?

I don't do it typically, I would say... at the moment I own Shoal's Rest Farm near Rorikstatt, a few of the girls are outside in the yard, a few others inside in the house.
Every now and then one disappears, where to I don't know, I can't port to her either.
But that's not a problem, I just port them to me.
I had one of the girls then after some time twice, because the other has reappeared, but with "disable" that is also cleared up immediately.

Can you move her from one place to another? I brought her to the whiterun tavern where the save dialogue showed up. After that she stays there.

Yeah sure, just go where you want Candy, then port "player.placeatme ID" ("help Candy" in the console for the ID) to you.
She will probably be in the game twice then though, so still in the Whiterun Tavern as well. Just go there, put Candy in the crosshairs, open the console and type "disable".

You have to talk to them when they are imprisoned.  Use available dialogue to take them someplace safe.  They will follow you using generic AI package, Once you have taken them somewhere safe(must be inside of a cell like an Inn or a PlayerHome) you must use available dialogue to tell they are safe here. Now they will use AI package tell them to sandbox their current location, you can have them as a follower then and you can take them elsewhere and MYHM them or take them somewhere and leave them there, they will sandbox there then. 

 

So for any girls you have to escort them to a safe place and use dialogue to them they are safe and then you can recruit them as followers.

Sadly I have no idea why girls on your end are doing that. 

 

You have to go through the motions. Free them from bonds by talking to them. Get them to follow you to some place safe by talking to them. Tell them they are safe by talking to them(must inside of an interior cell) now they stay in that cell and sandbox.

Didn't you once say that something was still missing with Candy and Andramia?
It was the race or ethnicity that you once wanted to change? But I can also be mistaken.

I think you have a problem with her voice type, let me guess you dont use mod RDO? Relationship Dialogue Overhaul.  This mod would probably be needed for her voice type. Alternatively you can open mod in xedit and change her voice type,maybe I update version for non RDO users, seems like I should of done that. 

 

After dropping off somewhere she should have follow me dialogue, if she doesnt then its her voice type in conjunction with you not having RDO

You got me right there ^^ I don't have RDO. A no-RDO version would be very welcome :)

Can you confirm that Alorea dark elf in BrokenFang Cave has good voice type on your end? 

 

Curious also if female orc is good now, if not she is not good than she is not going to have an orc voice, not without RDO, She might b good right now, hopefully.

Without RDO Alorea uses the standart dark elf voice type. like Jenassa.
