Hi everyone :)

This is a converted version of Buddy Christs SMUT Books Mod.

His passion and energy in making this mod for Skyrim a few years back is inspiring and i felt this mod was underrated and maybe sadly missed.

So... i with care converted the mod.

To give a brief description of what it is :

The mod adds a interactive house in the village of Darkwater Crossing. Please do visit this place and carefully look around and interact with anything you discover, i wont give spoilers. :)

Also the mod spawns/places numerous erotic story books around Skyrim that you will find in time. The are really well written and worth time reading. These are listed in the mods original link.

The original Skyrim link for a healthy and detailed description is here so please visit Buddy Christs original page and give him a thumbs up as its all his work.

I hope to add my own stories once i learn how without removing or damaging the ones Buddy added. A friend of mine Pfiffy placed my first effort called An Orcs Pet. I hope to add many more.

So here is the SE version of SMUT Books. Happy reading!!!

rightful credit given to Buddy Christ and all those he mentions in his mod readme.

If anyone uses this mod and comes across my addition ' An Orcs pet' book, please could you let me know if it reads ok? Its newly added so i havent found it yet and wanted to know if adding a book works. Pfiffy helped me but it still needs some text editing and thats on me to do. :)

I hope you got the ck running already.

I have prepared a few pictures to show you what You have to do.

First create a working folder for the mod, somewhere far away from the game folder and unpack the archive there.

Start the CK, Click on Data, and select SMUT in the window. If it is the newest mod in you have installed it will be the last one in the row. Set it as active file.

After loading go to the object window. It looks like this:

CK1.JPG

Enter SMUT into the filter and select All, then click on form type to sort the entries.

The interesting things for you are the books and the containers.

Double click on your book:

You will see this:

CK2.JPG

The ID is the internal name of the book: it is a good practice to let them all start with SMUT in this case. So they are easier to find.

As soon as you change the name here and click ok, you will be asked If want to create a new record, or replace the old one.

The name of the story is the name that will show up in the game. this can be changed everytime.

The world model is responsible for the appearance of the book.

The discription is also something you want to change for every new book you want to add.

For a start i suggest not playing around with the stuff in '< >' or '[ ]', Just replace the story and the front page.

Note: To paste in a different text, copy your work to the clip board, mark the text you want to replace and press ctrl-shift-V.

When you are done, click 'OK'....

for the next step we need the 'LItemBookClutterSMUT' and 'LItemBookClutter'

These two are responsible for the distribution of the books.

the first puts them into the chests in the house, the second will place them all over the world (I think... )

At this point we take a look at the 'user' section

CK4.JPG

right click on one of the entries with 2 users

and select 'use info'

Doubleclick on both entries...

Then save....

The new esp will be generated in the data folder of the game copy it to your working folder and make a new achive...

You will get used to it, if you have done it a few times.

OOH! I remember trying to install this mod.... guess I accidentally used the LE edition (which didn't work). I do hope this slowly turns into Fallout 4's MASSIVE collection of porno magazines and comics. But y'know.... Skyrim-like. Maybe some screenshots from the this sites sexy screenshot thread or rule 34 art.

The newly added building makes this incompatible with Arthmoors "Darkwater Crossing"-Expansion. Just as a small warning so people don't make the same mistake I did (to have both installed). ^^

Edit: Also, as a small suggestion, I wouldn't put so many of the books in the house, I think it would feel more rewarding to find and read one book at a time out in the open. ^^

I really like the mod and the idea behind it, I hope there might be many more books in the future!

Thank you for your warning reply. I havent ever used that Mod expansion you mentioned so had no idea, so thank you.

Also the books in the hut etc isnt anything i have done. All i have done is port this mod in its original Oldrim state. One book did get added of my own with the kind help by Pfiffy but that was just one story.

Sadly right now i have not got Skyrim SE on my PC as i had some issues and had to remove it. I will get around to installing it all from scratch one day . I am now focusing on modding and playing Fallout4 but will stay watching and responding here :)

I do use Darkwater Crossing and I wanted to try this mod out, so I created a patch for the two. Be sure it loads after Darkwater Crossing and SMUT both. It is an ESL so it will not add to your load order. The building has been moved east slightly and rotated to face the south east now. I also lowered it to allow grass in my game to clip through the landing on the front door, as it helps it look more abandoned in my opinion.

I am by no means a pro modder, but I have found no issues with the edits I have made. It has already been cleaned in SSEEdit. Let me know if you find any issues with it.

I recently discovered the world of books in Skyrim. It seems to me that this is a good modification, but it seems to me that people read a little. I like to collect and read rare books in the game lore. I recently found a cool rare a handful of dates review. This is the untold story of a family drama. This book is about respecting and finding yourself.

Hi. I have Skyrim SE back on my new PC after finally getting a good PC and i would like to write more books for this mod. Its been such a long time ago that i attempted to covert this with the kind help of Pfiffy.

Now i will be totally honest i have completely forgotten how to even edit or fix or this mod or even add books to it. my RL time is limited and i know this sounds lazy but i really just want to only write and create lots of sexual/erotic stories that can become books for this mod.

So... if i put some effort into finding and writing good stories that are fairly lore friendly to the game is there anyone ideally a skilled modder who would help by picking this mod up and then i could send them a copy of the stories that they could add to the collection. I believe the mod is working ok although i will test it later from my original file created with Pfiffy.

You would need to be able to add my stories i provide into this mod and ideally have it so they are randomly placed in the Skyrim world.

As far as the kind patch provided by Puff3r, i will say that as of today i have found that all of Arthmoors mods including Darkwater Crossing have been removed from Nexus so i would advise until soemone can say otherwise caution using the patch unless you already have a copy of Arthmoors mods.

Please if your willing and able to help and can add stories i will work on to this mod, contact me here. Once i know soemone will help i will seek to make the sexual collection of books decent and large. :)

I reall hope soemone can help. Thank you.
