Changing a spell from Destruction to Rejuvenation

Does anyone know how to change what skill set a spell is in?

I can change the perks for reduced mana cost, but it still shows in the old spell list, and it levels the old skill.

I want to make Sparks a rejuv spell like a smite for a cleric build. I have been playing just using sparks but it gives me too much skill for other destruction spells and I really just want her to be a cleric.

and I know there are rejuv combat spells but they are all fire based and in my world clerics don't throw fire they summon lighting! ?

I should add they I can use CK and TES5Edit, and there are things I don't know how to do, but some of the circular logic of Skyrim makes my head hurt...

It is in the magic effect section for the spell itself.  Though that would change it from destruction to restoration for everybody who uses the spell.

So change this?

That worked! yay! You're awesome! Stay gorgeous! ?

With a couple other changes I now have my Smite and Major Smite spells. Now, I just have to find a way to get them in game organically. (Ideally it would be nice to have the books be something you buy in the Cleric MCM with Cleric perk points, but THAT is way beyond my abilities.) You have to be more than a Bobcat to do that, you'd have to be some kind of MasterBobCat ? (I really do think I'm funnier than I am. Sorry... ?)

I would have suggested the Light Dark spells mod but you wanted zappy zap, not Merida's divine glory, so that wouldn't work I guess.

Depending on how organically you want the books in game, dropping them in the world at the end of an appropriate dungeon would be one way. As long as you don't touch anything else it would be compatible with any other mod that changes the dungeon (as long as the post, table or shelf where you put the book doesn't move).  (this is how I'd do it, potentially putting it in the Sanctuary cell you can buy access to via the MCM, making it an extra benefit).

Another option would be mod that also adds spell tomes, or anything else really, to the right loot lists.  Just re-create your spells in that mod, pop them into the lists the mod uses to distribute loot and let it do the work.  Probably have to restart your game (or at least restart the quest that controls the loot placement).

Third would be creating the quest and compiling a script to seed the books into loot lists, merchant lists and whatnot in your own mod.  I've kept this post bookmarked in the hopes I'll get a compiler working.

That would have been my thought as well, as to getting it into game, you could add it to the appropriate level lists for restoration books, which list you would add it to would depend on what the skill  level for reducing cost is, though that would make getting it pretty much rnd.

Just had a quick look at the mod itself, you might be able to get away with adding your new spells to the form list of cleric spells, though no idea if that would work as it appears not to be used by anything in the mod.
