Morthol CTD

Everything is working great - 50 or so hours into my game.  I was in Morthal previously, but after fighting Alva and getting hit a few times I decided to fast travel to Whiterun to click the shrine to avoid vampirism.  However, when I try to go back to Morthol..whether through fast travel, or approaching on foot, I get a CTD 100% of the time.

 

Any ideas?

Have you tried starting a new game and going to Morthal to see if it is working outside this save?

Did you install/uninstall something during this period?

It appears it was the Laid To Rest quest.  Others have had similar issues, so I used the console command to TP into Highmoon Hall and out of Morthal - once the quest completed, I could enter Morthal normally.

You might want to run LOOT on your load order.
