A CC used on those sims is a recolor / retexture and you don't have the mesh (original CC). That's why your sim got this glitchy texture. You'll have to identify the CC / CCs and remove or find the mesh.

is it somehow possible to find that? because I have already searched and deleted all cc's that have to do with mouth and teeth and so on. but without success.

Sometimes it's easier to move groups of cc into a folder on your desktop for testing.

One folder I name Testing and one is Testing OK.

If the problem in game doesn't stop after removing a batch, move that batch from Testing to Testing OK.

Eventually you will find the problem when the bad one is removed to Testing.

Now you work on finding the culprit within the narrowed down mods by moving them back into the game a few at a time until the problem comes back.

You can also make a temporary folder in Mods named Testing to use for this.

One way to narrow down the mods when you have so many.

Don't make any game saves while testing so you don't ruin your current save.

Some refer to the process as the 50/50 method.

Take 50% of your cc instead of smaller batches.

You can find out which 50% has the problem first.

The 50% with the problem has to be split 50/50 again.

Just keep repeating and it will take less time.

You could also maybe use (S4S) Sims 4 Studio to find it but with that many items it could take some extra time to find them anyway.

Have to look at each cc file in a window to see what it looks like.

When you see the one with the strange colors you just delete it, taking note of the filename so you can remove any other copies stored elsewhere.

1 way that MIGHT speed up the process is to look for any package files with the word 'recolor' in the name and start with those.  Since the files names can be anything this might not work, but it's a starting point.  I have the same problem with a couple of clothing mods.  Somewhere I installed a recolor without having the needed mod that had the meshes.  I need to fix those.  I haven't looked, but is there are mod out there that will show in CAS what mod a CC item comes from?  I know that there are icons for the main S4 packs, but nothing for CC.  A mod that shows the name of the CC in CAS when hovering would be nice.

1000 thanks to the tip with sims 4 studio. found the cc that caused the error. went faster than expected. it was a file where I never would have thought because the name had nothing to do with teeth. Thank you

the file name was WMS_BiteMeFangsAdult_MERGED
