lolicatgirls9 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Long story short, I used the showracemenu function multiple times without knowing that it would mess up my stats, and my character is now all screwed up. Look here... Now, as my first character, I would like her to be right. I know I can somehow edit my character's stats (Construction Set, I assume), but there's one thing I need to figure out before that. What would my character's stats probably have been, had I not messed them up with showracemenu? If that's not determinable, then what do you think I should set them to? I'm mostly worried about my max magicka, since I'm pretty sure I'll have trouble casting the more advanced spells without ample magicka. I want to be able to summon those Daedra Spider Queens or whatever they're called and shit like that, you know? And to do that "enemies explode" jazz.

lolicatgirls9 Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Well, yes, but it's too late for that.
Dee383 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I Gather You Didnt Make A Clean Save Before You Changed It ...
lolicatgirls9 Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 No, that would be the reason why I'm here.
Dee383 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Theres Only One Thing You Can Do And Thats Load The Game With A Previous Save Before You Changed Your Race . Backup The Save Folder First ... Rename The Autosave.bak To Autosave.ess Rename The Quicksave.bak TO Quicksave.ess Rename The Autosave.obse.bak To Autosave.obse Rename The Quicksave.obse.bak To Quicksave.obse
lolicatgirls9 Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 You're not hearing me, I can't. I'm trying to ask if anyone could make an educated guess as to what my stats would be, had I not messed them up, so I can use CS to change them to somewhat normal.
Jerbsinator Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 There Is A Way To Use Showracemenu To Change Your Race Without It Messing Up Your Stats ... I'm curious, how would I do this? I made this mistake once but luckily I saved pretty close so I just reverted. I want to change my characters mouth a bit though but it's not worth it if I lose all my stats.

HanPL Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 1.Open console 2.Showracemenu (DON'T CLOSE CONSOLE } 3.Choose the race etc (sometimes you won't be able to change hairs etc) 4.Save (While keeping console open ) 5.Load savegame (All stats will be normal ) 6.Now you can change chair/eyes etc 7.(Repeat step 1~5) Or just use this : Character Generate Amulet. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2072
EvenstarGW Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 The UOP has a fix stats option, but I'm not sure how it calculates what your stats should be. If you try it, be sure to backup your save. Personally, I'm using Realistic Leveling, which recalculates my stats constantly, based on my skill levels. Your leveling method and choices you made might have a big impact on your stats, so it's hard to say what they should be exactly.
lolicatgirls9 Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 What is this "fix stats" option that UOP has? I've never heard of it, and don't know how to use it. EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Click the UOP key, duh. Seeing as this fixed nothing ("Finished. Nothing was changed."), I have determined that my character's REAL problem is that her stats are behind. If I can proportionally increase them, then I'll be set to go. You know what? Fuck it. I'm just going to go into CS and edit my character's stats. I'm so worried about being fair, but really I just want to have a good time. I'm going to give her 300 health and 500 magicka, and I'll increase the difficulty if necessary.
lolicatgirls9 Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Whelp, I clearly was too quick to assume things. How do I edit my character's stats? I KNOW there's a way to do it. EDIT: Nevermind again, used console command.
gregathit Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 If you ever need any console commands just refer here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console
