What body does AAF use

I've just switched to Unique player mod.  I've noticed that during AAF animations, the pubic hair is black like the common body for NPC's.  Is there a way to have red pubes during AAF animations?  Without turning the whole wasteland into a carnival of colors?

Off the top of my head, You can use Fusion Girl, CBBE, BodyTalk, and EVB with AAF. Not 100% sure but I can't see any issue using Janebod as vell. hope this helps

No, what I mean is I have given my character a red bush, using Unique Player, she is a redhead.  The dark bush looks great on nearly all the NPC's since they are dark haired or blonde.  It appears that when an animation starts, the NPC body is switched in, giving my redheaded character a black bush.  This, of course, looks terrible.  The issue is in the textures, not the meshes.

I'm not sure how AAF works it, but I am hoping there might be a patch to point it in the appropriate direction for the Unique Player texture file.  The 1% of knowledge I  have about modding suggests it would be as simple as changing one line in the mod.

Thanks.  Doubt I would have ever found that.

Just had a Crazy Idea. if you could say make a coloured Muff as an item of clothing and then equip the player with it at the start of the sex scene and then un-equip it at the end of the scene. A bit like a Devious Device.   Just a thought...

To put this in context so it doesn't get lost in the other thread:

I'm just thinking this through blindly. So, I could be off. But, it seems like re-pathing the textures, etc. to another folder would not work with AAF because it would only be applying that change to the main character form. The separate, custom form that AAF uses then wouldn't have that Unique Player texture-path customization.

If that is the issue, the Unique Player mod could address it with an over-write patch that applies the same change to the custom form in the AAF esm.

If my theory about that is correct, it would indeed be a one or two line (form technically) fix. But, it should ideally be part of the Unique Player mod rather than a one-off patch or part of AAF.

Coincidentally, I am getting ready to start working on a "LayeredClothes" feature for AAF that allows defining clothes that automatically equips when the clothes in a certain slot is removed. The idea is for allowing layers of clothes. But, I think it could be used for this purpose too.

I've solved this issue by using the 8k realistic body textures from the Nexus.  The bush has been done in such a way that I can't tell if it's not red.  A dark red for sure.  It's not decisively black.  Works good for all hair colors unless you are playing a fully natural blonde.

I'm glad you found a solution / compromise to your issue.
