Saves and Mods

I've always suspected that it was the case that by changing the mods for a character I made it less and less stable, but I've never been able to prove such a thing. I know that when you load up a save with more mods it doesn't say anything but if you remove some that it had then it does. So simply put, how much do mods and saves interact?

Depends on the mods, your computer, the game and so on.  There is no universal answer.  

 

Saves can be corrupted by mods and or the improper removal of mods.  Again, depends on quite a few factors.
