Confusion regarding certain mods

Hey guys, I'm sorry if this will sound very noobish, I've used wickedwhims for a while but every now and then I run into some issues and I'd try to finally clear this once and for all. I have a couple of things I'd ask your help with:

1) I installed EVE body mesh (first time I use it), defaults, also installed the optional package. Then I installed the Wildguy female body details mod mainly to have female pubic hair in game. But neither the female pubic hair nor the nipples appear in CAS. My understanding was that since they are tattoos they should work without issues with EVE body mesh, did I get this completely wrong?

-- edit ok for this one I realized wildguy's female body details is not the mod i'd been using in the past, but I can't for the hell of me find the one I'm used to. All I remember was that the pubic hair showed up in the tattoos section of CAS, while wildguy's for some reason show up under face details which doesn't seem very useful to me (cause then you choose the option while the body is covered). Anyone might have a clue what the name of the other mod may be?

2) When downloading animations I see sometimes there's a AP and NAP version. Does that mean animated penis / non-animated penis? If I use pornstar cock mod, does it count as animated penis? And final question, does it make sense to install both AP and NAP package or should I only choose one?

Thanks for your help and sorry if the questions above are dumb, I tried to figure out things myself as much as possible

Well to begin with you shouldn't use any other 'default' bodies as WW has defaults included and using any others will conflict.

If you need/want another body type use a non-default version instead, and those are selected in the game with WW body selector menu not CAS.

Wild Guys FBD is made for the WW default body and maybe Sopour Allures but don't know about Eve's as I think they are totally different.

Pretty rare these days for bodies to be selected in CAS anymore unless they are quite old mods, mostly used before WW was created, (or had the defaults included anyway).

Usually just the details, skins/overlays, and tattoos are in CAS, and obviously some are in different locations as designed by the authors.

Some areas in CAS get overcrowded with cc and become a pain to navigate through them all.

And I think there are slot restrictions in some areas besides.

I just strip the clothes off a sim in everyday category in CAS to apply Wild Guys FBD.

Once you edit a few hundred sims you will learn your favorites locations and not need to have them naked anymore, lol.

Oh ok thanks a lot for the clarifications, I'll switch to non-defaults or maybe just drop it if it creates problems, it was more curiosity than anything. Good point about just stripping to see the wild guys FDB I didn't think of that, I wish I could find the other mod I was using before though, I've searched everywhere but it seems to be rather not famous, which is odd cause I found it to be really good

You can use default versions if you want, the only difference between defaults and non-defaults is that the former will auto override the WW default and will be universally applied to all Sims without the use of the Body Selector.

Conflicts arise from people installing more than one default body type, despite creators warning people not to do so. This leads to the game trying to apply more than one body type to every Sim at the same time.
