abcabc88666 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I am new to modding skyrim (rather using others mods) I have been very confused about the different body types and the clothes/textures available for them. What is the latest and greatest body type? I see alot of chsbhc armors screenshots here and on japanese websites that look awesome... (well endowed) but now im seeing this manga...and dm body type... whats the difference?
Sensual Nautilus Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Well, you have to first know what kind of body do you want. If you want slim, there is UNP and it's slight variations (I'd recommend just the default unp as it is, not much different from it's slight variations) If you want the between and the majority's favourite, you can just go for cbbe. There are other bodies out there like it, but cbbe has great modding support both body wise and armour/clothing (not to mention slider mods for it that really adds great body options) There is also body with incredible bounce animation called TBBP which I think uses cbbe. Only draw back is that it is still fresh in the modding community, so there isn't too much out there for it yet. Another thing you have to be careful about regarding the mod is that its installation is not as forward as the other body mods I have listed here, new modders such as yourself may struggle on decisions in installation for this mod. If you like women who have strong "assets" like me, I would recommend just using chsbhc. There are other incredible body mods out there like it, but they do not have as much support as chsbhc gets. As good as it is supported by the community, obtaining similar looks of the amazing customizations of other people can be challenging. The body also requires an animation fix you can get from FNIS at Nexus (which you will end up having anyway sooner or later) There is a great new mod at nexus called RaceMenu which is an absolute must. It greatly improves the racemenu interface and even new and useful features. A good example of it is the "breast sliders" for R and L. You'd think you can just have the other body mods then to get big breasts, but you'll need chsbhc still for the amazing curves. ehehe tits and asses <3
Guest Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Anyone else getting the feeling that this question gets asked atleast once a week? We should make a sticky for the different body types.

Monsto Brukes Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Personally, I would recommend ADEC body type. I would say that it has "slightly exaggerated assets". It would probably be 1:1000 of 'bikini model' pics that you'd find on the web... just a little bit bigger than normal boobs/ass but still unaltered. ADEC has a 'set' that contains prob 90% of the vanilla armors in game as well as several player only sets (unless you set them up as replacers). Don't forget the Aureolean skin to go with it (shameless self plug) That is all.
Sensual Nautilus Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 What skin textures would you recommend for chsbhc then? Plenty to choose from and dependant on your taste. So long as it is a skin for cbbe V2. You'll be able to find some at the nexus and some over at chsbhc related threads here. I like the skin with a little bit of pubes for what sliver of realism I can salvage from my depravity lol, but I got mine from one of the chsbhc armor/mod threads here at LL I recommend you should also take into consideration for body maps for that additional body quality like muscle tone and body features to go with your texture.

We should make a sticky for the different body types. YES! Capital Idea my good fellow! This would help newbies like me to be able to pick what body types/textures they prefer without spending precious hours dealing with incompatibilities and uncertainty...time that should really be spend studying for exams >.>

Also trying to mix some of these mods with the nexus NMM seemed to created disastrous results. Only some mods were able to be imported using NMM. I don't know if I can continue experimenting with mods the old fashioned way (over writing data files, then reloading default files when things go wrong)takes too much time.

[/quote'] That's understandable. As long as you use cbbe 2 body maps and skins, you won't get hip seams. Neck seams is tricky business as chsbhc has always had an issue with neck seams when you mix head and body textures and meshes http://img.3ezy.net/a_0ecb33828c6dd_800.jpg.htm http://img.3ezy.net/a_9f8f5ea5a25ed_800.jpg.htm I still have the neck issue, but not the hip seam. If you do not want to go through the hassle just to personalise your body of any type be it chsbhc, ADEC, UNP or cbbe, I'd recommend just sticking to the default unless the mod actually has instructions and tips on how to make the skin or head texture work. My personal experience is to just let your PC body evolve as you play skyrim and enjoy yourself. Gradually, you will improve what you have and don't let yourself get too stuck on a minor fault such as body aesthetic (unless it was truly drastic like nipples on your belly that can truly ruin immersion.) Whatever decision you make of what body to use will not be wrong as they all provide the same challenges to install and customize.
beach666 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 This is the best body: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/6416-megalovs-thread/ Nothing else comes close.
lovers30 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Personally I prefer women to be somewhat realistic. The post above is just frightening. Lady Body covers all the vanilla armours as well as some very well detailed ones of Krista's own creation:. English translations done by blackelf... http://www.loverslab.com/topic/9234-krista-mods/
Jexsam Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 If you want anything resembling support, you want either UNP or CBBE. ADEC and Lady Body have terrible armor support so your choices with those are going to be exceedingly limited. CHSBHC has a niche market and more support than ADEC or LB but still not as much as UNP or CBBE. If endowment is your final selling point, CBBE may be the body for you. UNPB, a UNP variant, may also suffice, but it doesn't have quiet as much support as either.
Amythiel Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 UNP/B and CBBE are definitely the most popular.
