Bodytalk V2 - dismemberment and CBP physics

Hello,

 

I recently downloaded and installed "BodyTalk V2 - The Extended Skeleton Edition" along with its requirements. According to the description of the mod there's supposed to be full dismemberment support. However, I built the body in bodyslide and tried to shoot a few people in game but no dismemberment took place. Does anyone know of any common installation-mistakes (etc.) that could be the cause of this?  Also, another question regarding the CBP portion of the mod. I'm using bodytalk for males and cbbe for females. Is it possible to get the CBP physics working for both? I installed it for the bodytalk mod and subsequently the CBP physics for cbbe stopped working.

Basically, it is all about the game calling the animation shots. I could probably shoot 6 npcs in the head and hope for 2 dismemberment animations. Much of it governed by in game killmove sequences...I have beheaded males with melee moves, weapon mods, and ranged weapons, but usually with minimal say as to when the beheading animation will trigger..

Thanks for the reply, I mean my problem is that after experimenting quite a bit (various weapon types, vats on, vats off etc.) with it no dismemberment seems to happen but honestly that's the lesser of the two problems. What really bugs me is getting the cbp thing to work for bodytalk and cbbe simultaneously.

This is a post from @TheBottomhoodofSteel.  You need to go to his pateron page.   Don't worry, he has kindly left BodyTalk open to those of us who are cheap bastards.  However, while there consider throwing some money love his way.

 

 

"I'm not gonna be one who speculates on if this decision will kill nexus, because I don't know or care enough to want to see nexus Fall that badly. I would like to see them get taken down a notch for attempting to take ownership of work away from authors. 

My personal thing is, I have been planning for a while to move away from Nexus, so I've been kinda detaching for a while now. This situation just made the move faster. 

Nexus has been slowly losing popularity to Discord/Patreon for authors. Discord is 100% free, minimally restrictive on what you can do and you get to upload whatever without going through the nightmare of Nexus' upload system (Which is absolutely trash and has been in need of an overhaul, but instead they have opted to do nothing to make it better). Patreon on the other hand allows you to get more money from your work (Nexus' DP pays pretty much peanuts and you have to wait 3 months to get what you earned anyway. They love to bloviate about how much they have paid out in DP, pretending that authors are makin bands, when we're makin nothin) and better interaction with your community. Patreon is partially less restrictive (Adult content is the only thing restricted) and easier to upload to. It's no shock to see authors flocking away to places that are more conveient, less restrictive and have better incentives to upload and produce content than Nexus has. "

Discord sucks monkey balls for mod access and support, as it fragments the support and mods across so many channels, with so many sub channels.

 

The fact that discord is considered better than say mod-linked forum based support on a download site (nexus/loverslab/etc) is just bonkers, imo.

BodyTalk has no fee associated with it, the mod remains free.  The link on the Patreon page is available to everyone and is a google drive download.
